Build Overview
Lightning Fury Javazon, despite her annoyingly high Faster Cast Rate Breakpoints (which are important for the Enigma's Teleport), is one of the most powerful end-game characters in Diablo 2 Resurrected. When properly geared, she is capable of dealing unbelievably high Lightning Damage in both single-target and AoE scenarios. Because of this, she is also a great choice for end-game Magic Finding (what she lacks in pure MF stat, she more than makes up for with her DPS).
The following Magic Finding Lightning Fury Javazon build is one of the best characters for clearing large packs of enemies and high-health Bosses (Charged Strike's damage is on par with the damage of builds specialized in 1v1 combat), which makes it perfect for doing Hell Baal runs on increased /player difficulty level. She is one of the fastest and the most universal end-game Magic Finding characters available.

Pros | Cons |
Extremely high AoE and Single-Target Damage output | Hard to balance MF, IAS, and FCR stats |
One of the best builds for clearing Baal Waves | Poor FCR breakpoints will force you to make some hard gear-related choices |
Great Mobility | Very expensive to build |
Skills
ATTRIBUTES |
JAVELIN AND SPEAR SKILLS |
This is the core Skill Tree of this Build. It provides you with two extremely powerful Skills: Single Target Charged Strike and AoE Lightning Fury - these two combined ensure that Lightning Javazon can breeze through any type of content. Skills:
PASSIVE AND MAGIC SKILLS |
This skill tree offers great utility skills - both passive and active ones. For this build, we're mainly interested in Pierce that strongly synergizes with Lightning Fury, and Decoy which is extremely useful for Baal runs. As you can see down below, we have decided to skip Valkyrie. This is because we feel like the build does not really need a Tank and the 4 Skill Points needed to unlock it are better spent elsewhere. However, if you like Valkyrie, by all means, unlock it and use it. Skills:
BOW AND CROSSBOW SKILLS |
This build focuses on Javelins, so we skip this entire skill tree. Skills:

Items
With this build, you should focus your gear around +Skills and Lightning Damage/-Enemy Lightning Resistance which are going to help with clear speeds. Moreover, it's extremely important to reach 52% Increased Attack Speed and 69% Faster Cast Rate Breakpoints for better DPS and faster Enigma Teleporting respectively. Achieving 75 Fire and Lightning resistance is also recommended, however, Poison and Cold resistances are not that important. Faster Run/Walk and extra Stamina/Stamina Regen are very useful to have as they will boost your overall mobility. Last but not least, you should try to squeeze as much Magic Find as possible out of your gear, without sacrificing the above-mentioned stats too much. |
HELMETS |
Griffon's Eye (Diadem) - This is a perfect helmet for a Lightning Fury Javazon as it not only reduces enemy lightning resistance but also boosts your lightning damage. Moreover, it increases your skills and gives you 25% Faster Cast Rate which makes reaching the desired breakpoint much easier. |
Harlequin Crest (Shako) - You can't go wrong with Shako in a Magic-Finding build. It will give you a nice boost to survivability by increasing your Life and providing damage reduction, Magic Find by giving you a healthy 50% boost to it, and damage by increasing your skills by +2. |
WEAPONS |
Titan's Revenge (Ceremonial Javelin) - This powerful javelin offers a very solid base damage boost which, coupled with its +4 to Javelin and Spear skills in total, results in an amazing boost to your damage. On top of that, it provides a very healthy Strength and Dexterity boost as well as high life steal and an amazing Faster Run/Walk increase. |
Thunderstroke (Matriarchal Javelin) - This is one of the most powerful weapons you can have on a Lightning Javazon. It can give you up to +4 to Javelin and Spear Skills on top of -15% enemy lightning resistance, +15% to your Attack Speed, and a high bonus to your Lightning Damage. You can't go wrong with it. |
A "6-40" Magic Javelin - These extremely rare Magic Javelins are some of the most powerful magical items in the entire game. If you're looking for raw offensive power, they can offer you just that.
SHIELDS | |
Spirit Shield (Runeword) - When in doubt, equip the Spirit Shield. It will take care of your Faster Cast Rate, resistance, Hit Recovery, and +Skills needs. What it won't give you is Magic Find. Also, Spirit Shield alone is enough to bump you straight to the 52% Faster Hit Recovery breakpoint, which is nice. |
Splendor (Rune Word) - A nice and inexpensive Magic Finding Shield Runeword. While it's not as powerful as Spirit Shield, it will still give you some solid bonuses, like FCR, Faster Block Rate, +1 to All Skills, and +20 to Magic Find. |
Phoenix (Runeword) - This powerful Shield runeword offers a solid mix of defensive and offensive stats that are going to make your Lightning Javazon better in almost all respects. Its main downside is the fact that the Firestorm cast can interrupt your Javelin throws. |
WEAPON SWAP | |
Call to Arms (Runeword) - This powerful Runeword will allow you to pre-buff yourself up with Warcries (buffs persist through weapon swap). You should combine this with a Shield that gives +2 to All Skills for the best effect (we recommend any Spirit Runeword). |
AMULETS |
A Magic/Rare Amulet with + Magic Find Affixes - Amulets like these are a solid choice if you want to stack as much Magic Find as possible; Magic Amulets can have up to 50% MF (these are more expensive), and Rares can roll up to 35%, which makes them a bit cheaper.
Highlord's Wrath - This amazing amulet will give you +20% Increased Attack Speed which is extremely important for the build. Moreover, it will provide you with +1 to All Skills and some much-needed Lightning Resistance. |
The Cat's Eye - An interesting option that may come in handy especially if you want to run this build on a very limited budget (without Enigma). It offers an amazing boost to Faster Run/Walk and the much-needed +20 IAS. |
ARMORS |
Enigma (Runeword) - If you take Magic Finding with this build seriously, Enigma is the only real choice. It will not only increase your MF stat by a lot, but it's also going to skyrocket your mobility. Without Enigma's Teleport, sour clear speed won't be anywhere as fast as it should be with this build. |
Chains of Honor (Runeword) - If you don't want the Teleport, this Armor is the second-best option. It greatly improves your defenses by granting you physical damage reduction and +65 to all Resistances. It improves your DPS by giving you +2 to All Skills. It makes it easier to equip heavy gear by providing +20 Strength. And it also makes you a bit better at Magic Finding. |
Skullder's Ire (Russet Armor) - This relatively cheap armor is going to give you quite a lot of defense, some offensive utility with +1 to All Skills, and up to 125% Magic Find. If you plan on running a Magic Finding Lightning Javazon on a very tight budget and don't really care about clear speed, it might be worth your consideration. |
RINGS |
Raven Frost - We recommend this one because of its Freeze Immunity and the fact that it increases your Dexterity by +20. The latter part is especially important as it allows you to save attribute points you would otherwise have to spend on Dex to be able to equip your Javelins. |
Nagelring - This ring can give you up to 30% extra Magic Find and some damage taken reduction. Other than that, it's rather mediocre as you don't really need the Attack Rating, however, if you want some extra Magic Find, there's no real alternative in this slot. |
"Dual Leech" Rare Ring - A Rare Ring with Life and Mana Leech is a great alternative to the available unique D2R rings. Ones that also grant +Resistances are considered the best. We recommend this one because life and especially mana leech work extremely well on a Lightning Javazon. |
GLOVES |
Chance Guards (Chain Gloves) - These Gloves offer up to 40% MF and a nice bonus to gold drop, and are generally the best Magic Finding choice for this slot. |
Bloodfist (Heavy Gloves) - A solid defensively focused choice that will give you +30% faster hit recovery, a solid boost to Life, and +10% Attack Speed. |
BOOTS |
War Traveler (Battle Boots) - As far as Magic Finding-oriented boots go, this pair is the only real option for the build. From them, you'll get up to 50% MF and a high reduction of stamina drain when running. |
Waterwalk (Sharkskin Boots) - These solid boots will give you a healthy boost to Dexterity, which is great for equipping some of the other recommended gear pieces. Moreover, they increase max fire resist, which is great for Baal runs. Also, they provide a nice Health boost. |
BELTS |
Goldwrap (Heavy Belt) - The only belt that offers Magic Find works surprisingly well with this build. This is because it provides +10% Increased Attack Speed which will allow you to achieve IAS breakpoints easier. |
Razortail (Sharkskin Belt) - This belt is amazing for a Lightning Fury Javazon for one simple reason - it offers a +33% chance to Pierce. Because of this, you don't have to waste precious points on the Pierce Skill. |
Thundergod's Vigor (War Belt) - Belts usually don't give you bonuses to Skills (this is why Arachnid Mesh is so powerful), this one, however, does... Thundergod's Vigor will give you +3 to Lightning Fury and +3 to Lightning Strike, and these are your two main Skills. |
CHARMS |
MERCENARY |
We recommend picking up Act 2 Might Mercenary for extra damage bonuses. He should be equipped with:
