Build Overview
Most Starter Builds are designed to be powerful right from the get-go (hence their name). Lightning Fury Javazon is a bit different in this regard, as she is known to actually struggle a bit in the early game (not nearly as much as a Bowazon, mind you). However, she scales extremely well with levels and does not require too many expensive items. Once you get her to ~level 70 or so, she becomes very powerful. At high levels, Lightning Javazon is a real powerhouse that blitzes through monsters at astonishing speeds.
Lightning Fury Javazon is one of the best characters for clearing large packs of enemies which makes her an optimal choice for farming in the Cow Level. On top of that, Her Single-Target damage is on par with most builds specialized in 1v1 combat. As a result, Lightning Fury Javazon is one of the most universal Diablo 2 Resurrected Starter Builds - it just requires a bit more patience early on.

ATTRIBUTES |

JAVELIN AND SPEAR SKILLS |
This is the core Skill Tree of this Build. It provides you with two extremely powerful Skills: Single Target Charged Strike and AoE Lightning Fury - these two combined ensure that Lightning Javazon can breeze through any type of content. Skills:
PASSIVE AND MAGIC SKILLS |
This skill tree offers great utility skills - both passive and active ones. For this build, we focus on the passive power boosts, as they supplement our Javelin skills very well. Having said that, once you max out everything else, you might want to get the Valkyrie as well (especially if you feel like you need some extra defensive power). Skills:

BOW AND CROSSBOW SKILLS |
This build focuses on Javelins, so we skip this entire skill tree. Skills:

Items
As per usual with PD2 Builds, you want to get as many Skill levels (Amazon/Javelin and Spear Skills in this case) as possible to increase the build's overall power level. Resistances are also important, but they should never come before the offensive power. Increased Attack Speed is also extremely important as it will allow you to... well, attack faster (just remember to check your breakpoints or you might over/underinvest in it). Defensive stats, like faster hit recovery and life leech/life on each kill, are a nice addition but they should come naturally - don't choose gear because it has these on it. |
HELMETS |
[Early] Lore (Runeword) - With just a little Rune farming, you should be able to make this Helmet. It will give you a solid early power boost, thanks to +1 to All Skills.
[Late] Griffon's Eye (Diadem) - An extremely powerful end-game helmet for a Lightning Fury Javazon. It not only increases all your Skills by 1 but also reduces the enemy Lightning Resistance and increases your Lightning Damage, which is simply amazing. |
WEAPONS |
[Early] Magic Javelins with +3 to Javelin and Spear Skills or Rare Javelins with +2 to Amazon Skills - These are not that hard to get and they offer a very solid early power boost. You can get Increased Attack Speed on these as well. If you're extremely lucky, you can even find a Javelin that gives +6 to Javelin and Spear Skills (but a Jav like that is worth more than most end-game items available in Diablo 2 Resurrected). |
[Late] Thunderstroke (Matriarchal Javelin) - This is one of the most powerful weapons you can have on a Lightning Javazon. It can give you up to +4 to Javelin and Spear Skills on top of -15% enemy lightning resistance, +15% to your Attack Speed, and a high bonus to your Lightning Damage. |
SHIELDS | |
[Early/Late] Spirit Shield (Runeword) - This can be quite hard to make early, as it requires a shield with 4 open sockets (so, you'll need a Monarch, basically). Spirit Shield gives you a lot of Resistances, +1 to All Skills, a lot of mana, vitality, and a high bonus to Faster Hit Recovery. |
[Late] Stormshield (Monarch) - A powerful defensive option that will allow you to come very close to (or achieve) Max Block. Stormshield is great if you like to have solid defenses. |
AMULETS |
[Early] Rare/Magic Amulet with + Amazon/Javelin and Spear Skills would be ideal, but chances of finding these are extremely low. Most likely, you will end up with a Magic Amulet with Magic Find, Attack Rating, and/or Resistances.
[Late] Highlord's Wrath - This amazing unique Amulet is actually better for this build than Mara's Kaleidoscope (thanks to its +20% Attack Speed increase). The only thing it lacks compared to Mara's is Resistances. |
ARMORS |
[Early] Peace (Runeword) - Quite easy to make and quite hard to replace. This powerful early Runeword will give you a lot of power, thanks to the Skill Levels it provides. Chances are, you won't find anything better for a long time. |
[Late] Chains of Honor (Rune Word) - This powerful Runeword offers tons of damage, mitigation, and Resistances (65!) as well as a solid boost to Magic Find. This is, by far, the best CHestpiece you can have on a Javazon. |
RINGS |
[Early] Rare/Magic Rings with Faster Cast Rate, Resistances, Magic Find, and Bonuses to Life are what you should be looking for early. You will most likely find tons of these early - just pick the best pair and use them until you find a replacement.
[Late] Raven Frost - One of the best rings you can have on any Diablo 2 Build. It provides Freeze Immunity which is extremely important to have on every build. |
[Late] The Stone of Jordan - One of the most iconic items in Diablo 2 - you can find references to it in other Blizzard games. If you're after some more offensive power, this Unique Ring will give you just that. Stone of Jordan increases the level of all your Skills and your max Mana. |
GLOVES |
[Early/Late] Rare and Magic Gloves with + to Javelin and Spear Skills and + to Attack Speed are your top early game picks. They are quite rare, but they give you a substantial power boost.
Note: If you get Gloves with +3 to Javelin and Spear Skills and +20% Attack Speed, you are set for the rest of the game. |
[Late] Dracul's Grasp (Vampirebone Gloves) - A good all-around choice that increases your attack speed and gives you some extra survivability. These also give a high strength bonus which is very convenient for choosing equipment for other gear slots.
BOOTS |
[Early] Rare/Magic Boots with Faster Run/Walk, Magic Find, increased Gold from Monsters, and extra Attributes are a good early-game option until you find something better.
[Late] Waterwalk (Sharkskin Boots) - You can't go wrong with Waterwalks, especially if you need some extra Dexterity They also provide a solid boost to Run/Walk Speed and Stamina. |
BELTS |
[Early] Rare/Magic Belts with Faster Hit Recovery, bonuses to Life, and increased Gold from Monsters are a good early-game option until you find something better.
[Late] Thundergod's Vigor (War Belt) - Belts usually don't give you bonuses to Skills (this is why Arachnid Mesh is so powerful), this one, however, does... Thundergod's Vigor will give you +3 to Lightning Fury and +3 to Lightning Strike, and these are your two main Skills. |
CHARMS |
MERCENARY |
This build does not really need a Merc, but if you want to run one, we recommend picking up Act 2 Defiance Mercenary for extra damage mitigation bonuses, but only if you can afford Insight (or Infinity preferably). He should be equipped with:
