This build uses the Nebuloch which funnels it into an Endurance Charge-stacking archetype. Nebuloch can be a great weapon here - it adds a lot of damage and other stats which are particularly good in a Physical to Fire build. Still, the self-inflicted Fire Damage over Time is increasingly hard to mitigate the more Endurance Charges you have. With two such weapons, you have to have an excellent Life Recovery mechanic in order to stay alive. That's why we recommend getting a source of Life Leech, high Life Regeneration Rate, and Life Recoup. Recoup works only with Hits, so employing a Boneshatter is a great idea - it deals traumatic Hit Damage to the character. Boneshatter of Complex Trauma will deal even more of it without the need to invest much into Attack Speed to ramp up the Trauma stacks. To reduce the Fire Damage taken you will use the Eternal Damnation Amulet. It is great with Loreweave and Transcendence Keystone. This combination drastically reduces Elemental Damage Taken, especially on a character with a high Armour Rating such as this one.
As a Juggernaut, you will easily reach over 200k Armour, possibly even twice as much with high-end gear. With Resistances fixed at 78% and Transcendance, you will take almost no Elemental Damage from Hits. Your Physical Damage Reduction is still good due to the Endurance Charges, Physical-to-Elemental Damage shift, Arctic Armour, Fortification, Berserk, and Grasping Vines, so reaching 90% Physical Damage Reduction is trivial. You can withstand some of the most devastating blows with ease, but your survivability is still bottlenecked by the Life Recovery, so taking good care of that is your utmost priority. Nature's Patience Keystone, Armour Mastery, Arctic Armour, and Soul of Tukohama should encourage you to stay still to improve your durability even more, which you can afford to do, unlike most builds that have to dodge attacks. For more DPS, employ Brutal Charges from Arn's Anguish for up to a 36% chance of dealing Triple Damage, as the build is capable of reaching 12 Maximum Endurance Charges.

Boneshatter of Complex Trauma is your sole damaging ability. It has good clear speed with the pulses it creates on Stun and Herald of Ash. For more damage, use both Ancestral Totems and activate Berserk. Blood Rage should stay on at all times. Warlord's Mark, Molten Shell, and Flammability are linked up with CwDT and will be triggered automatically. The same goes for Enduring Cry and Call to Arms. Your Mana-reserving Skills are Determination, Herald of Purity, Herald of Ash, and Arctic Armour.

[DPS] Boneshatter setup
Boneshatter of Complex Trauma - A Melee Attack that grows stronger the longer you Attack, but also deals damage to the character with each use. This version of Boneshatters puts a lid on the upper Trauma limit you can reach but makes it nearly four times as effective, so it's great if you cannot reach or sustain high Trauma anyway, which we don't.
Fire Penetration Support - Damage penetrates a big portion of Fire Resistance. Use the level 5 Awakened version to cause Exposure.
Elemental Damage with Attacks Support - More Elemental Damage with Attacks.
Ruthless Support - Every third Attack deals 100% more damage.
Endurance Charge on Melee Stun Support - More Damage per Endurance Charge, and Brutal Charge on Stun.
Multistrike Support - Much higher Attack Rate, but lower damage. |
[UTILITY] Reservation setup
Herald of Ash - Improves clear speed with "explosions" on kill, grants more Fire Damage, and Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage.
Determination - Adds and Increases Armour. It's the only Aura you're allowed to have with Sublime Vision.
Herald of Purity - More Physical Damage, later Converted to Fire.
Enlighten Support - Linked Skills Reserve less Mana. |
[UTILITY] CwDT setup | |
Warlord's Mark - Grants Life/Mana Leech against a Marked enemy, Endurance Charge on Kill, 5% Chance for Endurance Charge on Hit, and 20 Rage on Stun. That's a lot of utility, all very welcome.
Flammability - Lowers Fire Resistance, the only type of damage you will deal.
Molten Shell - A Guard Spell that absorbs a big portion of incoming Hit Damage. It scales up with Arour which you have a lot of.
Cast when Damage Taken Support - With Boneshatter you will take damage constantly, so linked Spells will be activated quite often. |
[UTILITY] various gems
Enduring Cry - Yet another way of generating Endurance (or rather Brutal) Charges. It Regenerates Life and Debilitates the enemy after allocating a specific Warcry Mastery.
Call to Arms - Triggers Enduring Cry for you.
Blood Rage - More Attack Speed. It deals a bit of Physical DoT to the character.
Enhance Support - Improves the Quality of linked Gems, which results in increased Attack Speed and Cooldown Recovery Rate for Enduring Cry. |
[UTILITY] Totem setup | |
Multiple Totems Support - It lets you summon both totems. You won't need it you only plan to use the Vaal version of Ancestral Totem.
Ancestral Protector - Grants more Attack Speed.
Vaal Ancestral Warchief - Grants more Melee Damage. The Vaal version has more Totem Life, an extended Totem limit, and an improved buff effect. |
[MOBILITY] various gems
Leap Slam - A mobility skill to move around faster and jump over obstacles.
Arctic Armour - Grants Freeze Immunity, Chills enemies nearby, and reduces Physical and Fire Damage taken by 20% while stationary. You want to stay stationary to benefit from this Skill, Nature's Patience keystone, Armour Mastery, and Soul of Tukohama.
Berserk - Spends the Rage for a temporary buff to DPS, durability, and Movement Speed. |
|
The build deals Converted non-Crit Fire Damage. All the damage is sourced from Endurance Charges, Nebulochs, Brutal Charges, Gems, and Passives. You will need to Convert Physical Damage to Fire with the Avatar of Fire keystone and Rare Gloves. After that's done focus primarily on defensive stats, most important of which are one source of Life and Mana Leech, Life Recoup, and Life Regeneration. The self-inflicted Physical Hit Damage from Trauma and Fire Damage over Time from Nebulochs is hard to offset, but this build is durable enough to withstand it. You will use quite a lot of Uniques which makes Attributes and Resistances highly sought after. You will need 155 Dexterity and 105 Intelligence, most of which must be gathered from Rings, Helmet, Gloves, or Jewels. All your required Chaos Resistance is gained from Unrelending.
Our recommended items will:
Stat priorities on items:
|
(Helmet) Rare Helmet - Look for a simple Helmet with Life and Resistances, maybe Attributes and a Veiled Prefix to shift up to 10% of incoming Physical Damage to be taken as Fire. For the Eldritch mods seek Life Recoup from Fire Damage and a portion of Physical Damage to be taken as Fire.
Min. requirements: +80 Maximum Life +70% Total Elemental Resistances Optional affixes: #% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Fire Damage (Veiled) Chance to Avoid being Shocked (Essence) Chaos Resistance Intelligence Armour Life Regeneration Mana Reservation Efficiency |
|
(Weapon) Nebuloch - Grants flat damage, Chaos Resisance, Armour, and reduces Elemental Damage taken per Endurance Charge. It also provides you with Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage so it's extremely powerful in an Endurance Charge stacking build with Physical to Fire Conversion, such as this one. The only downside is the Fire DoT you take.
10% reduced Enemy Stun Threshold Adds (45-60) to (100-120) Physical Damage Gain (30-40)% of Physical Attack Damage as Extra Fire Damage +4% to Chaos Resistance per Endurance Charge 1% reduced Elemental Damage taken from Hits per Endurance Charge Adds 5 to 8 Physical Damage per Endurance Charge +500 to Armour per Endurance Charge 200 Fire Damage taken per second per Endurance Charge if you've been Hit Recently |
|
(Body Armour) Loreweave - Used mostly to fix your Resistances at preferably 78% to offset the reduction from Eternal Damnation and Transcendence. This combination can stand on its own legs but here it is especially useful, as the self-inflicted Fire DoT would be hard to mitigate otherwise.
Has 6 Sockets +(8-24) to all Attributes Adds (4-10) to (14-36) Physical Damage to Attacks (20-60)% increased Global Critical Strike Chance +(15-50) to maximum Energy Shield +(20-60) to maximum Life +(20-50) to maximum Mana (6-30)% increased Rarity of Items found (15-50)% increased Elemental Damage Your Maximum Resistances are (76-78)% |
|
(Boots) Ralakesh's Impatience - You're always at Maximum Charges and it lets you generate Brutal Charges from Arn's Anguish on top of that.
+(15-25)% to Cold Resistance +(15-25)% to Chaos Resistance Count as having maximum number of Endurance Charges Count as having maximum number of Frenzy Charges Count as having maximum number of Power Charges |
|
(Gloves) Rare Gloves - Gloves should Convert the remaining 50% of your Physical Damage to Fire. It can be done with a Crafted Prefix for 25% and Eater's mod for 10% to 35%. There's also a Veiled Prefix for 35% Conversion. Other than that, look for Maximum Life, Resistances, Life Regeneration, Attack Speed, and Dexterity. For the Exarch's Implicit get Rage on Hit.
Min. requirements: +80 Maximum Life +70% Total Elemental Resistances 50% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Optional affixes: Chaos Resistance Dexterity Armour increased Attack Speed Life Regeneration |
|
(Belt) Arn's Anguish - Equip it to gain Brutal Charges and for one maximum Endurance Charge. Each Brutal Charge has a 3% Chance of Tripling your damage. It also has Maximum Life, Armour, and a lot of Fire Resistance.
(15-25)% increased Stun and Block Recovery +(600-700) to Armour (12-15)% increased maximum Life +(40-60)% to Fire Resistance +1 to Maximum Endurance Charges Modifiers to Minimum Endurance Charges instead apply to Minimum Brutal Charges Maximum Brutal Charges is equal to Maximum Endurance Charges Gain Brutal Charges instead of Endurance Charges |
|
(Amulet) Eternal Damnation - You have to have capped Chaos Resistance so that this Amulet can reduce Elemental Damage you take by a third. This includes the self-inflicted DoT from Nebulochs. With Loreweave, the downside of -5% to all maximum Resistances will not apply.
+(16-24) to Strength and Intelligence +(40-70) to maximum Mana +(-13-13)% to Chaos Resistance -5% to all maximum Resistances Gain additional Elemental Damage Reduction equal to half your Chaos Resistance |
|
Recommended Anointments: Whispers of Doom Hardened Scars (if using Life Flask) |
|
(Ring) Rare Ring - Rings could extend the Maximum Endurance Charge limit by 1 with their extremely rare synthesised Implicit, aim for that. For the regular mods get Maximum Life, Attributes, Resistances, Life Regeneration, Life Recoup, increased Elemental Damage with Attacks, and Reduced Mana Cost of Skills.
Min. requirements: +70% Total Elemental Resistances +60 Maximum Life Non-Channelling Skills have -7 to Total Mana Cost (crafted Prefix) Optional affixes: Life Regeneration Life Recoup Attributes +1 to Maximum Endurance Charges (Synthesised Implicit) increased Elemental Damage with Attacks increased Elemental Damage |
|
(Ring) Precursor's Emblem - These could be great. Look for one Maximum Endurance Charge, increased Attack and Cast Speed, increased Movement Speed, increased Armour, Damage, or Life Regeneration per Endurance Charge.
+(20-30)% to Fire Resistance +20 to Strength 5% increased maximum Energy Shield 5% increased maximum Life <Three Endurance Charge mods> |
|
(Jewel) Rare Abyss Jewels - Look for Maximum Life, Attributes, Resistances, and Chance to Avoid being Shocked which is good with Stormshroud. Corrupted Blood immunity can be present in Corrupted Jewels.
Recommended affixes: Maximum Life Attributes Resistances Chance to Avoid Being Shocked |
|
(Jewel) Large Cluster Jewel - Look for two Physical Damage Large Cluster Jewels with listed notables. Martial Prowess is the best one, but one Overlord should be here too to generate Fortify stacks.
Recommended affixes: 1 Added Passive Skill is Fuel the Fight 1 Added Passive Skill is Feed the Fury 1 Added Passive Skill is Martial Prowess 1 Added Passive Skill is Overlord 1 Added Passive Skill is Calamitious |
|
(Jewel) Small Cluster Jewel - You will need a bit of extra Reservation Efficiency. Instead of gaining it from a Helmet, you could implement one Small Cluster Jewel with Uncompromising.
Recommended affixes: 1 Added Passive Skill is Uncompromising |
|
(Jewel) Natural Affinity - Grants Grasping Vines when standing still. After 5 seconds of doing so, you have a 20% chance to deal double damage and take 10% less damage. These won't slow you down with Unstoppable.
Adds Nature's Patience
(Jewel) Stormshroud - Your Chance to Avoid being Shocked is sourced from an Abyss Jewel (up to 50%), Helmet's Essence Suffix (up to 60%), or a Flask's Suffix (up to 55%). You can reach a 100% chance of avoiding all Elemental Ailments this way.
+(10-15)% to Lightning Resistance Modifiers to Chance to Avoid being Shocked apply to all Elemental Ailments |
|
(Jewel) Militant Faith - Look for the Maxarius variant for Transcendence. Your Armour will no longer reduce Physical Hit Damage, but Elemental Hit Damage instead. For the Devotion mods look for Aura Effect, Elemental Damage, and Reduced Mana Cost of Skills.
Carved to glorify (2000-10000) new faithful converted by High Templar (Avarius-Dominus-Maxarius) Passives in radius are Conquered by the Templars Historic <two random mods of devotion> |
|
(Jewel) Sublime Vision - Get the Determination variant for one extra Maximum Endurance Charge.
+1 to Maximum Endurance Charges while affected by Determination Aura Skills other than Determination are Disabled Auras from your Skills have (20-40)% increased Effect on you |
|
(Jewel) Forbidden Flame & Flesh - You will need Unyielding, Unstoppable, Untiring, or Unrelenting. Look for the cheapest pair.
Allocates <Random Ascendancy Notable> if you have the matching modifier on Forbidden Flesh Allocates <Random Ascendancy Notable> if you have the matching modifier on Forbidden Flame |
|
(Jewel) Progenesis - Progenesis is great here. A quarter of Hit Damage is taken as DoT, which buys you time to Recover it back with Recoup, Leech, or Regeneration.
+35% to Chaos Resistance (20-10)% reduced Charges per use (-35-35)% increased Duration When Hit during effect, 25% of Life loss from Damage taken occurs over 4 seconds instead |
