Build Overview
It is not a surprise that Blizzard Sorceress is among the most popular Diablo 2 Resurrected Magic Finding builds. It's extremely powerful right from the start, can farm Hell Mephisto for early gear like no other build, and scales were well into the late game. It can farm in pretty much all level 85 areas without too much of a problem. Moreover, unlike its sister, the Lightning Sorceress, MF Blizzard Sorc can easily stack Magic Find without gimping itself. When it comes to Magic Finding, Blizzard Sorceress is a true jack of all trades.
The following Blizzard Sorceress Magic Finding build was designed for efficient farming in any of the level 85 areas on high /Players difficulty settings. It can defeat packs of powerful monsters very easily thanks to the combination of high Cold Damage and freeze effects that come with it. While its clear speeds are not the highest, it more than makes up for it with amazing mobility, solid survivability, and second to none Crowd Control.

COLD SPELLS |
Cold Spells skill tree is one of the most powerful trees in the entire game (in our opinion). It not only allows you to deal substantial amounts of AoE Damage right from the start but also offers solid crowd control which is extremely helpful when farming in level 85 areas. There are multiple ways you can approach it, for this build we've chosen the Blizzard variant. Skills:

FIRE SPELLS |
From here, you'll get some extra mana regen, which is nice. Skills:

LIGHTNING SPELLS |
From here, you will get two amazing utility skills. Teleport which turns the Sorceress into a queen of battlefield mobility, and Static Field that works wonders against Bosses and other high health monsters. Skills:

Items
With this build, you should focus your gear around extra Magic Find that is going to make farming much more efficient, +Skills which are going to help with clear speeds, and Faster Cast Rate that will make you much more dynamic (63 FCR is a bare minimum you should get). Another thing that is needed for this build is Mana, so you should prioritize items that provide it (both Mana increases and Mana regens are welcome). Faster Run/Walk and extra Stamina/Stamina Regen are also very useful to have as they will boost your overall mobility. Moreover, anything that can boost your survivability (Life, Faster Hit Recovery, Block Rate, Resistances, etc.) is quite welcome. |
HELMETS |
Harlequin Crest (Shako) - You can't go wrong with Shako in a Magic-Finding build and thus it's the first item we'd recommend for this Blizzard Sorceress. It will give you a nice boost to survivability, MF, and damage. |
Nightwing's Veil (Spired Helm) - This powerful Helmet offers the highest possible DPS boost but no bonuses to Magic Find. You could still try getting some sockets on it and put extra Ists for the MF, but the same goes for Shako. |
WEAPONS |
Death's Fathom (Dimensional Shard) - This is an undisputed top choice for Damage. If you can afford one that has +30 Cold Damage, your DPS will simply skyrocket. |
The Oculus (Swirling Crystal) - This amazing Class weapon provides +3 to Sorc Skill Levels, a lot of FCR, some Resistances, and Attributes, but, most importantly, it boasts a +50% Chance of Getting Magic Items. A solid choice if you're after more MF. |
Heart of the Oak (Runeword) - If you have this one lying around, you can use it on a Blizzard Sorceress. It's nowhere near as good as Death's Fathom, but it will do the job just fine with its +3 all Skills, high FCR, amazing Resistances, and Mana Leech. |
SHIELDS | |
Spirit Shield (Runeword) - Spirit is a staple of pretty much any Caster build that wants to use a Shield. It provides anything you might need from an item (except Magic Find). |
Splendor (Rune Word) - A nice and inexpensive Magic Finding Shield Runeword. It lacks defense but makes up for it with its +1 to all Skills, FCR, Mana Regen, and Magic Find. |
WEAPON SWAP | |
Call to Arms (Runeword) - This powerful Runeword will allow you to pre-buff yourself up with Warcries (buffs persist through weapon swap). You should combine this with a Shield that gives +2 to All Skills for the best effect. |
AMULETS |
Mara's Kaleidoscope - This powerful end-game Amulet provides a great combination of offensive (+2 to all skills) and defensive (+20-30 to all resistances) properties. It's rather expensive but definitely worth the price. |
Tal Rasha's Adjudication - An amazing Amulet that will boost your Life, Mana, and Skills. Unlike the two other Tal Rasha's set pieces we recommend for this build, the Tal Amulet is actually well-worth using over the alternatives even if you won't run other set parts.
ARMORS |
Chains of Honor (Runeword) - This is a great choice for any Sorceress build and you can't go wrong with it, especially if you need some extra Resistances, Defenses, and Skills. CoH also makes it easier to equip heavy gear by providing +20 Strength (this also boosts your survivability indirectly as it allows you to spend more points on Vitality). And it makes you a bit better at Magic Finding. |
Enigma (Runeword) - Recommending Enigma for a Sorceress feels a bit weird, but you have to remember that this Armor is not only about the Teleport. It's also about + Skills, Faster Run/Walk, Extra Strength, Damage Reduction, and very high Magic Find. You can't go wrong with it, even on a Sorceress. |
Tal Rasha's Guardianship (Lacquered Plate) - If you want to take your Magic Finding to a higher level, you should go for 3 parts of the Tal Rasha's Set (doing so will grant you 65% additional MF). Tal Rasha's Armor is a good defensive item by itself, but the set bonus makes it great for magic finding on a Sorceress. Note: Only use it if you plan on running 3 pieces of the Tal Rasha's Set. |
RINGS |
The Stone of Jordan - You can't go wrong with double SoJ in this build. A pair of these will give you 50% extra mana and a nice boost to DPS. |
Nagelring - This cheap and very easy to farm (from Nightmare Andariel) Ring ring can give you up to 30% extra Magic Find and some damage taken reduction. Other than that, it's rather mediocre for a caster. Nevertheless, if you plan on stacking as much MF as you can, you should use two of these. |
GLOVES |
Magefist (Light Gauntlets) - These gloves are extremely solid for the build as they give you a high Mana Regen boost and 20% FCR. If you want Cold Resistance more than Mana Regen, you can use Trang-Oul's Claws instead. |
Chance Guards (Chain Gloves) - If you feel like you don't need the Mana Regen offered by Magefists and you've reached your desired FCR breakpoint, Chance Guards are a great MF choice. |
BOOTS |
War Traveler (Battle Boots) - From these farming-oriented boots, you'll get up to 50% MF and a high reduction of stamina drain when running, which is going to allow you to run infinitely. |
Sandstorm Trek (Scarabshell Boots) - From these Unique Boots, you'll get a lot of Faster Hit Recovery, Attributes, and Poison Resistance. If you feel like you don't need more Magic Find, you can definitely go with these defense-oriented classics. |
BELTS |
Arachnid Mesh (Spiderweb Sash) - Arachnid Mesh is amazing for any caster build. It not only boosts your Skills but also gives you much-needed increases to Faster Cast Rate and Mana. |
Tal Rasha's Fine-Spun Cloth (Mesh Belt) - This versatile belt is solid by itself, but combining it with other Tal Rasha's set parts really makes it shine. When used in a combination with two other parts of the set, Tal Belt will improve your MF, Faster Cast Rate, and Mana. Note: Only use it if you plan on running 3 pieces of the Tal Rasha's Set. |
CHARMS |
MERCENARY |
We recommend picking up Act 2 Might Mercenary for extra damage (while Might Aura does not affect your Damage, it will make your Merc more powerful). He should be equipped with:
