We are presenting a list of Top 5 most popular and well rounded Legendary and Set items in Diablo 3. These are the kind of items that are fully useful regardless of your character class. You should always keep those in your stash and have their powers extracted in Kanai Cube.
1. Ring of Royal Grandeur |
Primary Affixes: One of 3 Magic Properties Secondary Affixes: +1 random secondary affix Legendary Power: Reduces the number of items required for Set Bonuses by 1 (To a minimum of 2.) |
Ring of Royal Grandeur with its' unique Legendary Power is a build-defining item for various builds for nearly all the character classes. It allows utilizing the full potential of class-specific sets with just 5 of their parts equipped. For some builds, it may allow the player to benefit from one set's 6 part bonus, as well as 4 parts bonus from another, which may give amazing results. |
2. In-Geom |
Primary Affixes: +[981 - 1199]-[1175 - 1490] Holy Damage Secondary Affixes: +1 random secondary affix Legendary Power: Your skill cooldowns are reduced by [8 - 10] seconds for 15 seconds after killing an elite pack |
In-geom is one of the best cooldown reduction items in the game. It is used by nearly all speed farming builds in Diablo 3. Providing you can kill Elites fast, it allows spamming all mobility skills, keeping 100% uptime on numerous buffs, and greatly reduces cooldowns on the most powerful abilities. |

(tie) 3. Bastions of Will set Focus and Restraint set rings |
|
Primary Affixes: One of 3 Magic Properties: Secondary Affixes: +2 random secondary affixes |
Primary Affixes: One of 3 Magic Properties: Secondary Affixes: +2 random secondary affixes |
Set Power: Casting a resource-generating attack or primary skill grants 50% increased damage for 5 seconds |
|
Bastions of Will is one of the best non-class specific sets in Diablo 3. As long as you are using a primary attack and resource spender (and majority of builds does), Focus and Restraint will grant 100% increased damage. While the bonus is huge, it is very easy to keep the buff up at all times |
(tie) 3. Endless Walk set Compass Rose and Traveller's Pledge |
|
Primary Affixes: One of 3 Magic Properties: Secondary Affixes: +1 random secondary affix |
Primary Affixes: One of 3 Magic Properties: Secondary Affixes: +2 random secondary affixes |
Set Power: While moving, damage taken is reduced by up to 50% |
|
Endless Walk is another extremely powerful and popular set in Diablo 3. It provides up to 100% increased damage while not moving. It is equal in this terms of the maximum damage buff to Bastions of Will, however, it is much more suitable for stationary classes - ones that use channeled spells, melee fighters and those alike. While it is hard to maintain the 100% buff all the time, the set provides additional damage reduction bonus while moving (up to 50%), which puts it on par with the Focus/Restraint rings. |
5. The Furnace | |
Primary Affixes: +[1177 - 1439]-[1410 - 1788] Fire Damage Secondary Affixes: +1 random secondary affix Set Power: Increases damage against elites by [40 - 50]% |
|
The Furnace was once the most powerful and the most sought-after weapon in Diablo 3. With the introduction of set classes and various class-specific set items, that greatly boosted the damage of abilities, The Furnace's popularity has greatly diminished. Yet it still remains a great addition to various builds and provides decent damage buff versus elites, unique monsters and bosses. |
