The Best Crafty Guides by Odealo
Estimated budget: low (5 Exalted Orbs)
Guide notes |
March 17, 2018 -Updated Skill Trees to Patch 3.2 -Adjusted Ascendancy passives to utilize the reworked Trickster's potential |
Elemental Hit is a very niche skill. The main reason for that is the fact that it does not scale with weapon damage, and is in general weaker than other attack skills. This clear disadvantage, however, allows alternative and, at the same time, powerful item choices. This build relies on high Energy Shield and its' insane regeneration through recharge passive nodes and Leeching. Also, it utilizes Doedre's unique armour and helmet, which allow you to use six curses at a time, and each of them will increase damage enemies take by additional 20%. It is also extremely budget-friendly, as it does not require more than 4 links, and the most expensive item (The Taming unique ring) is luxury and can be replaced with cheap alternatives.

Elemental Hit Trickster is a melee build, which is based on very high attack speed, high elemental damage, which is further amplified by Doedre's unique items - Doedre's Scorn that increases damage enemies take per curse, and Doedre's Skin which allows 6 curses to be used at the same time. On top of that thanks to Trickster Ascendancy, this build has insane Energy Shield regeneration rate, which allows to facetank most of the mid/high tier content.

Leveling with Elemental Hit is rather easy. You can use two cheap unique items early on, which will provide amazing damage, nearly all the way up to end-game when you replace your gear. Elemental Hit does not scale with weapon damage either, so you do not need to alter the gear much, except for the survivability part.
