Build Overview
Bleeding Damage is one of the core Barbarian mechanics. It's Physical Damage dealt over time. To make the most use of it, use Rend - a Core Skill, and combine it with other supplementary abilities like Shouts. Steel Grasp is used to pull enemies closer, which yields many bonuses to clear speed, Shouts effectiveness, or passives like Pit Fighter. Enemies will be nearly constantly Slowed and Vulnerable, making them easier to slay. The character is quite durable as it can easily Fortify itself. The build has superb Fury Generation with Furious Rend, Tactical Rallying Cry, and Aspect of Echoing Fury.
Please keep in mind, that the following Guide explains the basic variant of the build, without diving into all alternative variants that may utilize different utility skills for various benefits. This will be obviously updated as we have a chance to test out this build properly in the actual game.

|
FLAY [1/5] |
It's very similar to Rend - it causes Bleeding for 5 seconds but has less damage and can only target one enemy. It will be used to weaken opponents, use it every 3 seconds. Modifiers:
|
RALLYING CRY [5/5] |
For the next 6 seconds after using this Skill, your Movement Speed is increased by +30%, and Resource Generation by x56%. It affects allies but only for 2 seconds. Modifiers:
|
CHALLENGING SHOUT [1/5] |
Taunts enemies nearby, and grants 40% Damage Reduction for 6 seconds. Use it defensively or to get more Fury. Modifiers:
|
WAR CRY [1/5] |
It simply increases your damage by x15% for 6 seconds. 3 seconds for allies. Modifiers:
|
STEEL GRASP [1/5] |
Pulls 3 enemies to you so it's great with Rend or War Cry. It has an 11-second Cooldown and deals little to no damage. Modifiers:
|
IRON MAELSTORM [1/1] |
The Ultimate Skill which uses three of your Weapons (requires Full Arsenal) and has to be activated three times. First, your 2-h Bludgeoning Weapon Stuns the enemies, then your 2-h Slashing Weapon inflicts Bleeding, and then your Dual-Wiled Weapon spin around you dealing damage. Modifiers:

HEAVY HANDED [3/3] |

Key Passive
GUSHING WOUNDS |
It's the best Key Passive for Bleeding builds. It makes the Crit Damage Bonus affect your Bleed Damage by an equal amount, and your Crit Chance affects the Chance of this effect occurring. Overpowering an already Bleeding enemy causes an explosion that inflicts Bleeding. |
Technique
Two-Handed Sword Expertise |
It causes you to deal x15% increased Damage to Vulnerable enemies. You have many reliable ways to cause Vulnerability. |
Items
Here's the stat priority list. This build takes advantage mostly of Bleed-type of damage, but also Critical Strike Chance and Damage due to the Gushing Wounds Key Passive. Enemies will be Slowed and Vulnerable most of the time. For survivability focus on damage reduction. The main damaging ability, Rend, is a Core Skill.
In the Sockets use Amethyst Gem in a Weapon slot for more Damage over Time, which includes Bleeding. Use Sapphire Gem in your Armor for damage reduction while you're Fortified, which you are after taking damage. For the Jewelry, choose Skull for the extra Armor, or Diamond for Resistance if you need them. |
