Build Overview
Ice Shards Sorcerer build is a great combination of high damage and crowd control for a single character. It can reliably Freeze, Chill, and apply Vulnerability to all surrounding enemies, making it a great party member. It uses various Cold Skills, the most prominent being of course Ice Shards. You will also use Frost Nova to instantly Freeze, Ice Blades to reduce Cooldown, Ice Armour for a major survivability boost, and Deep Freeze as the ultimate Skill with both defensive and offensive merits. Teleport is one of the best mobility tools you can equip. The build has quite good defenses with a nearly constant Barrier you can source from various Skills and Passives, not to mention the Frozen enemies which cannot deal damage. The Key Passive it uses is Avalanche for a much better Mana sustain and increased damage.
Please keep in mind, that the following Guide explains the basic variant of the build, without diving into all alternative variants that may utilize different utility skills for various benefits. This will be obviously updated as we have a chance to test out this build properly in the actual game.
