Estimated budget: medium-high

Doomfletch's Prism is a very interesting Bow, which allows players to reach insane amounts of Elemental DPS by stacking flat added Physical Damage. The Bow itself grants 100% of your Physical Damage as extra damage of each Element, so you basically get 300% of Physical DPS as extra Elemental DPS. This weapon allows us to level up insanely fast, and later on, and with a proper budget, we get to scale our DPS to amazing levels.
We have decided to use the Berserker class for this build, as it grants very high bonus DPS and Attack Speed from the Blitz Passive. After all, we don't get much Attack Speed from other sources as the Tree is mainly focused on defenses, Jewels, and Elemental Damage.

This build is very similar to Ranger/Deadeye Bow builds, but provides much more defensive utility at the cost of slightly lower DPS and clear speed. You should have approximately 7,000 Maximum Life, 60% Physical Damage mitigation, and around 3,000 Life Leech per Hit Rate, allowing us to face-tank most of the content. Solid defenses allow us to stay close to the enemies and benefit from the Point Blank Passive, which greatly increases Projectile Damage at close range. This Doomfletch's Prism Berserker build also offers very reasonable clear speed. By using Mirage Archer we can progress through Maps why it clears packs of enemies around us, and Scourge Arrow shots plenty projectiles in all directions, clearing entire Areas with each Attack.

PROS |
|
CONS |
|
We recommend leveling this character by using Bows. For the first levels, it's best to use Caustic Cloud + Mirage Archer, as you will not have access to any major Bow DPS node early on, so you should focus on getting kills with Gems. When you reach level 40 you should switch to Doomfletch's Prism and your leveling will become a walk in the park. You will deal massive amounts of damage regardless of your equipment, but obviously stacking Physical Damage is advised. From this point onward you will be breezing through Maps, and your main concern should be getting some Mana Leech and Movement Speed to allow faster progression.
Suggested leveling Gem setups:
Caustic Arrow setup | |
Caustic Arrow - deals high Damage over Time in an Area. Its damage is high regardless of our Passives and Items, making it a great pick for this build
Mirage Archer Support - summons a Mirage Archer on your back which uses the Supported Skill which reduced Attack Speed. It allows us to progress through zones faster, with the Mirage Archer spreading Caustic Clouds
Void Manipulation Support - grants very high bonus Chaos Damage
Swift Affliction Support - increases your Damage over Time |
Scourge Arrow setup (level. 40+) |
|
Scourge Arrow - primary Attack used in this build. It is a channeled Attack which deals greatly increased damage when released at 5 stages
Infused Channeling Support - grants very high bonus to Scourge Arrow and defensive buffs based on the type of Supported Skill
Elemental Damage with Attacks Support - great Elemental DPS increase to Attack Skills
Inspiration Support - great Elemental DPS increase to Attack Skills. It also reduces the Mana Cost of Scourge Arrow |
Utility Gems | |
Elemental Weakness - in case you need some extra Damage against Bosses, just grab this Curse. You can just cast it manually whenever needed, as you will not need it for most of the time
Herald of Purity - grants added Physical Damage to Attack which is all converted to Elemental Damage by Doomfletch's Prism
Blink Arrow - the recommended Mobility Skill used in this build
Portal - lets you portal to Town without the necessity to use a Scroll. You should link it to Faster Casting Support, or the animation may feel very long |

Below you will find the recommended gear for this build. Since our goal is to stack as many Abyssal Jewels as possible, certain legendaries are highly recommended. Basically, this build, up to a certain point, will work just fine with Doomfletch's Prism and any random Rare Items, but to reach its maximum potential you will need to make some extra investments.
Our recommended items will:
Stat priorities on items:
|
(Helmet) Abyssus - grants the highest possible Damage bonuses, but at the same time increases the Physical Damage you take significantly. Use with caution
+(20-25) to all Attributes Adds 40 to 60 Physical Damage to Attacks +(100-125)% to Melee Critical Strike Multiplier (100-120)% increased Armour (40-50)% increased Physical Damage taken |
|
