The malicious Mephisto’s influence brought forth the enormous messengers of Hell into the land of Sanctuary. Those gargantuan creatures carry blood-infused portals on their back, making sure the evil accompanies them on every step. The Realmwalkers, as locals refer to them, pose a significant threat to entire Regions, unleashing nightmares born from the hatred embedded in the portals within them. But their defeat is only the beginning of this never-ending battle with forces of evil. Seething Realms's spoils await any challenger willing to embrace this dangerous journey. 

Realmwalkers

During the Season of Hatred Rising, the Realmwalkers will appear in the Sanctuary. In a typical Diablo 4 manner, they spawn every 15 minutes in a random Region. They also visit the Nahantu Region, although only once per hour. Your mission is to find and conquer those beasts. However, it is not a simple task. Firstly, the Realmwalkers are immune to damage when you first encounter them. They will try to slowly escape from you to perform their unholy rituals. On their way, they will summon hordes of dangerous Enemies that you have to defeat.

After a few waves of Enemies, you will reach the Ritual, where you will have to destroy three Hatred Spires to make the culprit vulnerable. Finally, you are able to defeat the Realmwalker! It is not a very dangerous enemy, although you should avoid the occasional AoE Attacks just to be sure. However, defeating this monster is only the beginning, as you can now enter the blood portal infused into the flesh of Realmwalker. It will lead you to the mysterious Seething Realms. 

Seething Realm

Once you enter through the portal you will quickly find yourself surrounded by demons and other monstrosities. The Seething Realm is basically a Dungeon with special rewards at the end. You will need to hack and slash through the hordes of incoming enemies and locate the Realm Gate at the end of it, which is the main goal of this whole expedition. Here you will be able to sacrifice a tiny amount of certain Materials to select the Seething Opal you will want to get as the final reward.

What are the Seething Opals? It is a special type of Elixir that can stack with other Elixirs, although you can't have two Opals active at once. Each Opal lasts for 30 minutes of gameplay and grants special rewards depending on its type. While the Opal is active defeated monsters will drop additional loot related to the type of Opal you are using, for example, while under the effect of Seething Opal of Torment, you will obtain additional Boss Summoning Items and Infernal Compasses.

To get the chosen Opal you will need to complete the Seething Realm first. In the Seething Realm, you will encounter all kinds of random events and enemies. You should expect packs of Elite Enemies, Goblins, or even the Season-exclusive Seething Rupture, which simply leads to a hidden room where you can fight and loot even more Enemies. At the end you will find a Chest with tons of lucrative Items and of course the selected Opal.

Zakarum Remnants

As always, in the new Season, there is also a new reputation rank to grind for. While any of your Opal Elixirs are active killing Enemies will grant a bit of reputation for the Zakarum Remnants faction. Each Rank will reward you with a useful gift that speeds up your journey, but you shouldn't stress over it too much. You will earn the Reputation passively anyway since you will want to have any Opal Elixir active at all times to get bonus loot. This Season's Reward Caches are less frequent than before, but they offer more loo overall to compensate.
