Build Overview
Specialized gathering equipment is designed to improve your gathering yield at the cost of lackluster offensive power, making your farming endeavors much more profitable, but also a lot riskier. If you prefer to be an aggressor, you might opt to Gather in an offensive setup that will allow you to fight off other Gatherers or even actively prey on them and kill an occasional Ganker that mistakes you for an easy Target. Featured setup will provide you with less yield than a dedicated Gatherer's build, but will more than compensate for it with its offensive capabilities.
This build is designed for Ganking other Gatherers in the Open World. It supports very strong Crowd Control toolkit combined with a lot of mobility. This combination allows you to successfully dismount mounted Players. However, it might require some support to finish off Targets, as much of its DPS was sacrificed in favor of formidable Crowd Control abilities.

Items & Skills

Weapon: Double Bladed Staff provides a renga of very powerful Crowd Control skills that make escaping from you very difficult. |

- Concussive Blow - Damages your Target and applies a stacking Slow debuff. When the debuff reaches 3 stacks (after 3rd Concussive Blow), the Target is Stunned and all charges are consumed. Solid DPS ability with great CC attached.

- Stun Run - Increases your Movement Speed and causes your next Auto Attack to stun your Target. A great option for chasing down and stopping an enemy.

- Crescent Slash - You charge towards an area, dealing damage and slowing all enemies in the area. Another skill that enables you to catch and snare fleeing prey.

- Passive: Stunning Strike - Every 5th Auto Attack stuns your Target.

Helmet: Mage Cowl is a strong offensive option that increases your sustained damage by a lot and boosts your overall effectiveness with its passive. |
 |
- Poison - Causes your next Auto Attack to poison your Target. The poisoned enemy will take Damage over Time. This DoT quickly adds up and allows you to finish off your victims more reliably.

- Passive: Aggression - Increases your Damage and Heal Power.

Armor: Graveguard Armor increases the duration of all your Crowd Control effects and provides you with another solid CC ability. |

- Soul Chain - You attach a Chain to your Target. After 3 seconds the Target will be pulled to your position. This effect will not work if the enemy manages to run more than 30 meters away from you. This skill, combined with your other CC abilities, makes escaping from you almost impossible.

- Passive: Authority - Increases the duration of your Crowd Control effects.

Boots: Hunter Shoes give you access to very powerful mobility Cooldown that also improves your Crowd Control durations. |

- Rush - Boosts your Movement Speed and increases the duration of your CC abilities. This enables you to catch mounted Targets and lock them in place with your other abilities.

- Passive: Swiftness - Increases your Auto Attack Speed.

Food: Deadwater Eel Stew - Reduces Cooldowns and Increases Damage. This can be changed for Pork Omelette if it turns out to be too expensive. |

Potion: Major Healing Potion - Regenerates 27% of your total Health over 15s. This allows you to outlive Targets that offer a lot of resistance. |

This build is designed to maximize your Crowd Control potential while also giving you solid Mobility and decent Sustained Damage.
