Remaining Energy Deathblade Lost Ark Build
A sneaky assassin set up for Raiding as the Deathblade Class Remaining Energy Deathblade
PvE Raiding Build
for Lost Ark
Last Update: 06th May 2022
Introduction
Deathblade is a sneaky Assassin Advanced Class that excels at close quarters combat and prefers rapid and vicious surprise attacks over prolonged engagements. While her defenses are nothing to boast about, she more than makes up for them in the mobility department. Her Identity Gauge is called the "Death Orb Meter". Once she builds it up enough, she can enter the
Death Trance that reduces all Cooldowns and gives her access to a new powerful Skill -
Blade Surge. Her playstyle revolves around rapid attacks and quick retreats - She's always on the edge. Deathblade has access to two Class Engravings:
Surge and
Remaining Energy, the following build focuses on the latter.
Remaining Energy grants Deathblade Move Speed, Attack Speed, and Attack Power buffs whenever
Blade Surge is used. Because of this, the following build revolves around building up the Death Orb Meter as quickly and as often as possible to maximize the benefits gained from entering
Death Trance and using
Blade Surge.

Stat Priority
|
The Remaining Energy Deathblade requires extra Death Orb Meter generation to increase her Sustained Damage. Because of this, She benefits from high amounts of Specialization very much. In an ideal case, you'd want to have enough Specialization to be able to generate 3 Death Orbs in a single Skill Rotation. Another important stat is Crit, but it shouldn't come before Spec.

Deathblade charges to deliver a powerful thrust to inflict moderate damage before being fully Charged, and high damage when overcharged.

![]() MOONLIGHT SONIC |
Deathblade performs a sweeping slash in front of her to deal high amounts of Damage and pull enemies closer. This is a solid offensive skill that charges your Identity Gauge very well. It has a rather long base Cooldown, but Deathblade's Cooldown reduction can reduce it significantly.

![]() BLITZ RUSH |
Deathblade charges the skill to move 5 meters forward before attacking her enemies. Using the skill uncharged results in a dual-blade attack that deals moderate damage. Charging it to stage 1 makes it inflict high damage, and overcharging it results in high damage hit followed by an additional longsword slash that causes extra damage and knocks enemies away. This is one of the strongest offensive skills Deathblade has in Her arsenal. You will be using it as one of your main damage sources. Also, it's good at generating the Death Orb Meter.

![]() VOID STRIKE |
This Skill has two modes. If Deathblade charges it and releases the key midway, it performs an upper slash with Her longsword to inflict moderate damage and launch enemies into the air. If she Overcharges it, the skill will push enemies back, inflicting high amounts of damage and launching them even higher into the air. To simplify the skill bit and make it more convenient to use, you can pick up the

![]() MAELSTROM |
Deathblade creates a tornado that protects her and inflicts low amounts of damage. The tornado lasts for 6 seconds, inflicting damage over time, to all nearby enemies, for the duration. This is another team synergy skill: it increases Attack Speed for all Party members. Also, it increases your Death Orb Meter gain for a short time, which is great. |

Deathblade dashes 12 meters toward the target location, cutting through enemies with all her swords. Enemies caught in the attack receive high amounts of damage at the moment of impact and get launched in the air for an additional damaging hit.

Recommended Engravings
This is the core Engraving of this build and pretty much everything else is built around it. It is extremely efficient at Level 1, so you should boost all of your other offensive Engravings to desired levels before bumping this one to level 3. |
As the description suggests, this Engraving will make your charging skills better, so using it will improve your |
Most of the attacks you will be using have the Back Attack modifier. Because of this, |
Grudge is one of the most powerful offensive Engravings, but it comes with a severe drawback that may get you killed. With Grudge, all incoming attacks become 20% more lethal. Remaining Energy Deathblade mostly relies on mobility for its defenses, so pick it up if you feel like you can avoid most (or all) avoidable damage during boss encounters. Also, remember that it's only worth using at Level 3, so never use it at level 2 and especially 1 (unless you want to take 5% more damage for every 1% increase in your own DPS). |
This Engraving can boost your offensive power rather significantly, but the tradeoff is painful. Only pick it if you know encounter mechanics very well; If you lack experience, skip it. Also, using this at Levels 1 and 2 is not worth the risks involved (so, use it at Level 3 or don't use it at all). |
Remaining Energy Deathblade has very low Cooldowns and they effectively get even lower as you stack more and more Specialization. This means that stacking and maintaining Adrenaline is easy. Having this at level 3 is definitely not a bad idea (you can run it instead of |
The more Crit Rate you have, the more powerful this Engraving becomes. As a Remaining Energy Deathblade, you rely on Specialization, and Crit Rate comes second, however, |

Pros
Cons

Swift Fingers - Increases the Preparation and charge speed by up to 36% (at Rank 5). You should pick this Tripod to minimize Soul Absorber's animation time and smooth out your rotation.
Fist of Darkness - Changes Soul Absorber's Damage to Dark and increases the outgoing damage by up to +60% (at Rank 5).
Halve - Instead of throwing foes away with the Overcharged stabbing attack, you move in the cursor's direction after the attack and slash at enemies, knocking them away. Damage inflicted up to +144.0% (at Rank 5). This provides a high damage increase to the skill.
Wealth - With this Rune, your Death Orb Meter gain from using the ability will be increased by another 30% (Epic Rune). This is a rather significant buff to your Death Orb generation capabilities.
Fist of Darkness - Changes Moonlight Sonic's Damage to Dark and increases the outgoing damage by up to +40% (at Rank 5).
Sustain Enhancement - Changes the skill to Holding Mode, doubling its Duration but also increasing the total outgoing Damage by up to +150% (at Rank 5).
Shade Sonic - Makes the Skill attack faster and increases its damage by up to +105% (at Rank 5).
Vital Point Hit - Increases the skill's Critical Rate by up to +40% (at Rank 5). With this,
Charge Enhancement - Increases outgoing damage per charge level. With this Tripod, you'll want to fully charge up Blitz Rush whenever possible (it gives up to +35% damage per charge level, which is massive).
Shadow Rush - An afterimage attacks instead of you, inflicting +40.0% Damage. Excellent Mobility will not be applied. This Tripod makes Blitz Rush much more convenient to use.
Galewind - Increase the skill's casting speed. With this, the skill's animation lock becomes more manageable.
Dark Dimension Tripod, but we don't recommend it as the build relies on Charging Skills. Just like Soul Absorber and Blitz Rush, Void Strike is great at generating Death Orb Meter.
Orb Control - Increases Death Orb Meter from the skill by up to +75% (at Rank 5). This solidifies Void Strike as one of the best Dark Orb Meter generators at Deathblade's disposal.
Dark Explosion - The Overcharged attack triggers a time-delayed Dark Explosion after a while, launching its targets again in the air and dealing additional 105% Skill Damage (at Rank 5).
Push Tripod, it also serves as a gap closer/mobility skill but its range is rather limited.
Weak Point Enhancement - Damage to Push-Immune foes +70.0% (at Rank 5). With this, Earth Cleaver will deal much more damage to Bosses.
Earth Explosion - After the attack, advancing columns of energy are shot through the ground, knocking enemies away with patches of earth. Damage inflicted up to +129.6% (at Rank 5).
Overwhelm - A rune that makes the Skill deal up to +30% Stagger Damage (with a Legendary Rune). This will help you help your team with stagger checks.
Open Weakness Tripod, it applies a powerful debuff that increases the target's damage taken - you should try to keep this effect active at all times. Also, it serves as a solid gap closer/mobility tool.
Quick Preparation - Reduces the cooldown of Spincutter by up to -5 seconds (at Rank 5). While this isn't needed to increase the debuff uptime, it will let you use Spincutter as a mobility tool more often.
Triple Spin - With this Tripod, Spincutter becomes usable 3 times in a row (instead of 2 times). This makes Spincutter much better as a mobility skill.
Quick Recharge - Gives a chance to reduce all Cooldowns on skill use. This rune works very well with Spincutter's charge system (you get 3 chances to reduce cooldowns instead of 1, basically).
High Axel Tripod, this skill will serve as your main repositioning tool - you can use it to jump over Bosses to strike them from the back.
Swift Fingers - Increases the Attack Speed of Dark Axel by up to 27%. With this, you can reposition quicker.
Tenacity - Grants Push Immunity during the aerial attack. This ensures that you land where you intended to.
Protection - With this Rune, you'll receive 8% of your Max HP (with an Epic Rune) as a Shield while casting Dark Axel. This is quite important, as it gives you some much-needed survivability.
Dark Order - On skill use, Move Speed +19.8% for all party members within 24 meters for 6.0s. Adds the Dark Order buff of Attack Speed +25%. This turns Maelstrom into a solid team synergy skill.
Focus - This Rune lowers the skill's Mana consumption by quite a lot, making it much more cost-effective.
Blade Assault, which makes it a more reliable and versatile choice than the latter. Moreover, it allows you to phase through enemies (even Guardians) which makes it extremely useful for repositioning/dodging attacks through bosses.
Super Charge - Increases the Charging Speed and Damage of Charging Skills (Level 1: +8% Speed, +4% Damage; Level 2: +20% Speed, +10% Damage; Level 3: +40% Speed, +20% Damage).
Ambush Master - Increases the damage you deal with Back Attacks (Level 1 - +5%, Level 2 - +12%, Level 3 - + 25%). You should get this at Level 3 (which could amount to 25% increased DPS if you're perfect at performing back attacks).
Grudge - Increases your Damage Dealt to Bosses (Level 1: +4%, Level 2: +10%, Level 3: +20%), but makes you take 20% more damage from them.
Cursed Doll - Increases Attack Power at the cost of reduced 25% Healing Received (does not affect natural Health recovery (Level 1 - +3% Attack Power, Level 2 - 8% Attack Power, Level 3 - +16% Attack Power).
Adrenaline - When using skills other than mobile and basic attacks, attack power increases by (Lv. 1: 0.3%, Lv. 2: 0.6%, Lv. 3: 1%) for 6 seconds (stacks up to 6), and when this effect reaches its maximum stack, critical hit rate increases by an additional (Lv. 1: 5%, Lv. 2: 10%, Lv. 3: 15%). This effect is applied after the skill ends if the cooldown time reduction due to skill cancellation is applied.
Keen Blunt Weapon - Increases your Crit Damage (Level 1: +10%, Level 2: +25%, Level 3: +50%) but also gives your attacks a chance to deal 20% Reduced Damage.
