Introduction
Gunslinger is a versatile and very mobile ranged DPS Class that utilizes a total of three ranged weapons: a pistol, a shotgun, and a rifle. There are two main Gunslinger PvE Raiding Builds, both based on one of Her Class Engravings: Time to Hunt and Peacemaker. The featured build is based on the latter.
Unlike the Time to Hunt variant, the following Gunslinger Build makes use of all three of the Gunslinger's weapons, thanks to buffs given to them by the Peacemaker Engraving. It incorporates Rifle and Shotgun skills into the rotation, which makes positioning play a big part in its gameplay - Shotguns require you to be relatively close, while Rifles are best used from long range. While this makes the Peacemaker Gunslinger quite tricky to play, it also results in very high damage potential (higher than the alternative build based on Time to Hunt). To make things a bit easier, the In a Tight Spot Tripod is used to remove positional requirements from Shotguns, making them deal damage much more reliably (they no more require Back Attack). Also, because of the nature of used Skills, the featured build is one of the relatively few that focus on Crit Stat.

Stat Priority
Crit Rate is, by far, the most valuable stat for a Peacemaker Gunslinger. The exact percentage you should go for will (as always) depend on your gear, encounter knowledge, chosen engravings, and preference. The other two important stats for the Class are Swiftness and Specialization. |
Skills
RIFLE | |
TARGET DOWN |
Gunslinger enters a snipe stance with 3 bullets. Each of the bullets can be carefully aimed and shot to deal high amounts of damage. The duration of the snipe stance lasts up to 2.5 seconds. This is one of your three Rifle DPS Skills that should be used when you're relatively far from your target.

Level 12
FOCUSED SHOT |
Gunslinger fires her rifle two times to inflict moderate amounts of damage each shot. Then, she fires a high-caliber bullet to deal high amounts of damage and knock down enemies. Just like other Rifle Skills, Focused Shot has a considerable range and can be used from a relatively safe distance. Moreover, it has a rather large AoE that can be helpful when fighting against trash mobs.
Level 12
PERFECT SHOT |
Gunslinger fires a high-speed large-caliber projectile to inflict moderate amounts of damage. She can hit the Perfect Zone to also knock enemies back and deal an additional devastating blow. As far as Rifle Skills go, Perfect Shot is nothing to write home about but it still gets the job done just fine, especially against wounded enemies. You will be using it mainly when your other offensive skills are on cooldown.
Level 12
CATASTROPHE |
Gunslinger throws a Claymore at the target location and detonates it, dealing high amounts of damage and launching all affected enemies into the air. We don't invest much into this skill and only keep it around for Stagger Checks. It should not be a part of your "standard" rotation - use it only when encounter mechanics require you to.
Level 1
SHOTGUN | |
DUAL BUCKSHOT |
Gunslinger fires her shotgun two times, dealing moderate amounts of damage with each shot. If Dual Buckshot is followed up by another attack, She spins the gun to reload and fire it again, dealing high amounts of damage. This is a powerful short-range offensive skill that allows you to deal a lot of damage very quickly. Thanks to the In a Tight Spot Tripod, it also no longer requires Back Attack, which makes it much easier to use.
Level 12
SHOTGUN RAPID FIRE |
Gunslinger fires her shotgun three times, inflicting three damaging hits on her enemies. This relatively simple close-range Skill allows you to unleash a hailstorm of buckshot on your opponents. Thanks to the In a Tight Spot Tripod, it no longer requires Back Attack, which makes it much easier to use.
Level 11
SHARPSHOOTER |
Gunslinger fires the shotguns in each of her hands forward seven times to inflict high amounts of damage. Sharpshooter can be canceled by switching stances. This is a powerful but lengthy offensive skill. Luckily, it can be canceled early with ease. Also, just like the two previously described Shotgun Skills, it has the In a Tight Spot that removes the Back Attack modifier.
Level 12
LAST REQUEST |
Gunslinger fires a powerful explosive bullet, dealing high amounts of damage and launching enemies into the air. This skill deals a lot of Stagger Damage and can be used as a Counter, thus it should be saved for Stagger Checks and performing Counter attacks. It's not a part of your standard DPS rotation.
Level 7
HANDGUN | |
DEXTEROUS SHOT |
Gunslinger moves 6 meters as she glides and fires her handgun 4 times to inflict minor amounts of Damage to nearby enemies. This Skill can be used up to two times in a row. This is one of three Debuffing Skills in your arsenal. It also serves as a trigger for your Judgement Rune. Moreover, it can be used as a mobility skill if needed.
Level 7
SPIRAL TRACKER |
Gunslinger throws a spinning handgun at the target location within 10 meters from her, dealing moderate damage over 15 hits. This is your source of the Weakness Exposure debuff. When applied with this skill, the debuff lasts for 6 seconds. It is also used as a source of Conviction buff from the Rune. |
Level 4
QUICK STEP |
Gunslinger slides 6 meters forward and fires her handgun to deal moderate amounts of damage. You will use this Skill to gain some extra mobility and a minor Attack Speed increase.
Level 4
EQUILIBRIUM |
Gunslinger fires her handgun across a broad area, dealing moderate amounts of damage to all enemies who find themselves in range. Equilibrium is your most convenient source of the Weakness Exposure debuff (when applied with it, the debuff lasts for 12 seconds), but it has a relatively long Cooldown.
Level 4
AT02 GRENADE |
Gunslinger throws a grenade at the target location within 10 meters of her, dealing minor amounts of damage. This skill has no real use in the build. |
Level 1
SOMERSAULT SHOT |
Gunslinger somersaults to move 10 meters forward while firing her handgun to inflict minor amounts of damage. This is a solid mobility skill - use it as such.
Level 1
PEACEKEEPER |
Gunslinger fires her handgun forward to inflict minor amounts of Damage. Then, if you press the Colbo key, She fires her handgun in a burst to inflict another portion of Damage. If you input another Combo, She will also perform a kick and then fire her handgun rapidly to inflict moderate amounts of damage. The direction of this skill can be changed upon hitting the Combo key. Moreover, the first hit of this skill allows Gunslinger to perform a Counter Attack. The first hit of this skill is one of your two available Counter Attacks. Moreover, thanks to the selected tripod, it also doubles as a mobility skill.
Level 4
BULLET RAIN |
Gunslinger fires her handgun forward for 2 seconds to deal high amounts of Damage. This deals a lot of Damage for a Handgun skill.
Level 4
AWAKENING | |
HIGH-CALIBER HE BULLET |
Gunslinger aims at her foe in the front while quickly moving backward and firing a single bullet. The bullet creates a large Rear Blast to inflict massive amounts of Damage to all enemies in the vicinity. This is chosen over the Eye of Twilight because of its faster attack animation that makes hitting agile bosses easier.

Skill Usage/Priority List
While in combat, you should follow the below-described Priority List by prioritizing actions that are closer to the top of the list.
Recommended Engravings
This is the core Engraving for the build. At Level 1, it provides a considerable boost to all your skills (Shotgun and Rifle Skills benefit the most). Because of the diminishing returns from Levels 2 and 3, you only need this at Level 1 - focus on bumping other recommended Engravings to Level 3 instead. |
This Engraving is extremely powerful, but it will punish you if you make a mistake. If you can live with the downside, it will serve you as an unconditional damage increase. Pick it up only if you feel like you can avoid most (or all) avoidable damage during boss encounters. If you're still learning mechanics, you'll be better off skipping it (it's only worth using at Level 3 and becomes necessary for Tier 3 content, anyway). |
Most of the Skills you will be using as a Peacemaker Gunslinger won't require you to strike from the back or from the front. Because of this, Hit Master is very strong for the build. It effectively gives you the same effect as Cursed Doll, but without the drawback. |
Thanks to the sheer number of skills you rotate through with this build, Adrenaline is a perfect choice - you should be able to stack it up with ease. |
The more Critical Chance you have, the more beneficial this is. If you plan on using it, you should aim for (at least) ~75% Critical Rate. |
This Engraving can boost your offensive power rather significantly, but the tradeoff is painful. Only pick it if you know encounter mechanics very well; If you lack experience, skip it. Also, using this at Levels 1 and 2 is not worth the risks involved (so, use it at Level 3 or don't use it at all). |
Raid Captain paired with Level 3 Spirit Absorption and a total Movement Speed of 140% will give you ~+18% increased damage. Note: This is a budget option that should only be considered for alts. If you're looking to optimize your damage via Engravings, these two are definitely not worth going for. |
Gear Sets, Gems, Cards, etc.
