Build Overview
Dealing with the grouped up enemy can be very difficult, as picking off targets often results in compromising your own team's defense. To deal with this problem, we propose a Glaive build that is designed for quickly engaging and separating enemies from their group, making them easy prey.
The Build revolves around Shield Charge + Fling Combo that lets you move to your Target quickly and then Fling him into your Team (you should wait until an enemy gets himself out of position, by overextending, for example; some baiting might be required). Thanks to the Royal Banner, cooldowns can be recharged quickly for increased overall combat effectiveness, and the Flash of Insight gives the ability to instantly reset the Banner's Cooldown for even more dynamic and devastating openings.

Items & Skills
 |
Weapon: Glaive and its Fling skill is the heart of this build that will allow you to separate enemies and make them easy prey for your teammates. |
 |
- Spirit Spear - Increases your Attack Range and Attack Damage. This provides you with a solid Damage boost and a range advantage over any other melee fighter.

- Forest of Spears - Frontal AoE Attack that lets you puncture a lot of holes in multiple enemies at once, shredding them to pieces. This is your main DPS source.

- Fling - The centerpiece of the build. Fling combined with the Shield Charge lets you quickly engage an enemy, and throw him into your Team, where he will get nuked in a fraction on of a second.

- Passive: Slow Poison - Your normal attacks slow enemies. Additional slow CC that further increases your combat effectiveness.

Helmet: Specter Hood allows you to reset your Armor's Active ability for the third, very surprising, use of your Combo. This can be swapped for a Scholar Cowl + Energy Shield for long engagements to avoid Energy problems. |

- Flash of Insight - Resets your Armor's active ability, so that it can be used immediately. It has a 60s Cooldown. This will let you surprise your enemies with very quick, third use of the Combo, or allow you to escape danger by enabling you to use Shield Charge for the third time. It also increases the uptime of Royal Banner's Attack Speed buff.

- Passive: Swiftness - Increases your Attack Speed.

Armor: Royal Jacket enables you to use the Fling combo more often, by giving you access to the Royal Banner ability. |

- Royal Banner - Reduces your Cooldowns, allowing you to use your core abilities in rapid succession, greatly increasing efficiency. It also provides an Attack Speed increase for you and all nearby teammates. This gives you your skills back quickly and increases DPS of all nearby teammates, making the whole Fling Combo even deadlier.

- Passive: Swiftness - Increases your Attack Speed.

Boots: Knight Boots allow you to quickly get to your Fling Target and provide you with some extra toughness. |

- Shield Charge - You Charge towards a Friendly or a Hostile Target, and apply a defensive Shield on yourself and closeby allies. This has mainly offensive uses in this build, as it lets you engage your Fling Target very quickly, but it may also save your life, after you perform your Combo, thanks to Royal Banner's CD reduction.

- Passive: Toughness - Reduces incoming Damage.

Food: Beef Stew - increases your Damage, providing you with some extra offensive potential. |

Potion: Major Resistance Potion - Increases your Defence by 47% and your CC resistance by 90% for 6 seconds. This lets you avoid enemy CC and freely move to another enemy and Fling him towards your team or escape danger. It also increases your survivability. |

This build is designed to maximize your Crowd Control and Mobility without sacrificing your Defense so that you are able to stay inside enemy lines and disrupt them with maximum efficiency.
