Fallout 76 Power Armored Rhinoceros build

Fallout 76 Power Armored Rhinoceros build

Furious Charge Heavy Guns/Power Armor build for Fallout 76

"Furious Charge"
Rhinoceros
Fallout 76 Build

General information

Our "Furious Charge" Rhinoceros is one of the most enjoyable builds in Fallout 76. It is based on charging into enemies and staggering them thanks to the Pain Train Perk. When you reach your destination, you finish off stunned enemies with a devastating shelling from your Heavy Weapon. You can pick whichever weapon you want, including Explosive and Energy guns, however, the following Perks are oriented around Ballistic weapons. While there is a wide variety of weapons to pick from, you have fewer options when it comes to Armors in this build. Power Armor is a must-have in order to fully enjoy this berserk-type build.

Below you will find all the recommended Perks for each of the SPECIAL attributes and a brief introduction to this builds equipment and available mutations for this character.

You can also check our other builds on FO76 Builds and a beginner's guide to character customization

Perception FO76PERCEPTION

[1 POINT]

Butcher's Bounty

40% chance to find extra meat when you "Search" an animal corpse

Perception is the least important attribute for this character. You don't need Accuracy and other Perks are not exactly beneficial for us. You can use the point you have to help you find some extra food

Endurance FO76ENDURANCE

Lifegiver

Fireproof

Charisma is a very useful SPECIAL if you are playing Fallout 76 in a team. Still, if you decide to go solo, you may switch the recommended Perks for Lone Wanderer for some extra damage reduction bonus

Intelligence FO76INTELLIGENCE

Agility FO76AGILITY

[6 POINTS]

Action Boy

Action Points regenerate 45% faster

Sprinting consumes 40% fewer Action Points

Agility affects your Action Points and their Regeneration Rate. It's a critical attribute for allowing you to spring longer distances and charging into enemies

Luck FO76LUCK

[6 POINTS]

Serendipity

While below 30% health, gain a 45% chance to avoid damage

Bloody mess

15% bonus damage means enemies may explode into a gory red paste

Luck can affect all the actions you take in Fallout 76. It's recommended to spend a couple Points in this SPECIAL attribute regardless of your character build. Bloody Mess is a very solid DPS Perk, and Serendipity grants very high chance to avoid lethal damage

Equipment

ARMOR: Ultracite Power Armor is the way to go, however, it's the most advanced and rare armor in the game. You may want to stick to T-51b for more regular use (and easy repairs) until you are exceptionally rich

WEAPON: You can use any Heavy Gun you want. This build isn't heavily oriented on a specific type of Heavy Guns, and you should do fine with any item of your choice. .50 Cal Machinegun, Light Machinegun, Minigun, and Gatling are some interesting examples. All depends on how much ammo do you have

CHEMS: Psychobuff is a great Chem which increases your damage by 25% for 3 minutes. In general, you don't need to bother with them unless you are facing a really tough opponent.

Mutations

Both Mutations listed below are exceptionally beneficial for this build. If you manage to get them you should consider taking the Starched Genes Perk, so that the mutations are permanent

  1. Herd Mentality - the best Mutation for team players in the game. It increases all your SPECIAL attributes by 2 when grouped
  2. Speed Demon - fits this build perfectly. It increases your speed and reloads time which is extremely important for Heavy Gunners. However, it will increase the rate at which your thirst and hunger drains, so make sure you eat and drink to get the Well Fed and Well Hydrated buffs
