Blazing Bullet Carino 3 Build - Torchlight: Infinite

Last Update: October 26, 2026

Introduction

Hero: Divineshot Carino

Hero Trait: Zealot of War (Carino 3)

Main Skill: Blazing Bullet

Damage: Fire Projectile Hits and repeated Blazing Explosions

Season: SS14 Tartarus

High-Budget ProfoundSweeping Fury RequiredMobile Fire HitsExplosion Area

Blazing Bullet Carino 3 is an explosive ranged build for players ready to invest in a serious endgame character. Its damage comes from frequent projectile hits, overlapping explosions and a large Critical Strike Damage multiplier. Zealot of War supplies the Heat Up mechanic, while the finished equipment package turns the build into an aggressive Profound farmer.

Ethereal Prism: Sweeping Fury is mandatory for this version. The Prism grants the Sweeping Fury core talent, causing a successful Main Ranged Horizontal Projectile hit to trigger an extra use of the Main Skill. Those extra shots spread out in a ring, creating more opportunities for Blazing Bullet explosions. It is the centerpiece of our damage loop, so we do not recommend assembling the expensive items first and hoping that the build will perform the same without it.

Required before switching: Ethereal Prism: Sweeping Fury installed in an eligible talent panel, a functional high-damage weapon, Blazing Bullet: Fiery Blast (Magnificent) in support slot 3 and Blazing Bullet: Dual Resonance (Noble) in slot 5. This is a Profound-oriented configuration, with a very different budget from ordinary T7 builds.

Our version emphasizes Projectile Speed, repeated Blazing Explosions and steady damage between movement skills. The regular Wind Projectiles support replaces Willpower, while Gale turns some of that extra speed into Projectile Damage. Magmaskull supplies a powerful Fire Hit interaction through Affliction, and Delayed Pain adds protection during close-range firing.

Pros

  • Excellent explosive coverage and repeated Main Skill triggers with Sweeping Fury
  • Mobile Profound mapping with Projectile Speed and a strong critical-hit setup
  • Clear opportunities for premium weapon, glove and Hero Memory upgrades
  • Big Life pool and Injury Buffer offer useful protection for a damage-focused ranged character

Cons

  • Ethereal Prism: Sweeping Fury is required - the recommended build performs poorly without its extra Main Skill triggers
  • Very expensive weapon, two special supports and specialized legendary equipment
  • Heat Up, movement and buff uptime take attention during dangerous encounters

1. Zealot of War Hero Traits and Memories

Zealot of War turns ammunition and Heat Up into a major source of damage. Spending ammo builds Heat, and Incinerated Glory introduces Blank Firing and Overheated. Late Hero Traits refine that firing cycle, giving Carino enough offensive momentum to benefit from the additional Main Skill triggers provided by Sweeping Fury.

Stage Recommended trait Why it matters
Base Zealot of War Starts the magazine mechanic, adds Projectile Quantity and improves projectile attacks.
Level 45 Incinerated Glory Builds Heat Up through ammo consumption and unlocks the Overheated firing state.
Level 60 Ceasefire Starts with maximum Heat Up and supports extended Overheated firing. This is our main sustained-damage choice.
Level 75 Eternal Flames Each Heat Up stack also improves Attack and Cast Speed, helping Carino maintain repeated hits.

With Ceasefire, Carino starts from an advantageous Heat Up state and can continue attacking through an extended Overheated phase. This works well with the hit-dependent Sweeping Fury mechanic, since the Prism needs the Main Skill to connect before producing its additional cast. Accuracy and practical uptime still matter more than an impressive number on the character sheet.

Extreme Heat is the other level-60 direction, changing the maximum-Heat cycle into Burning Red. Endless Frenzy at level 75 rewards Knockback Distance. Both are worth checking when experimenting with specialized Memories, but the configuration below follows Ceasefire with Eternal Flames. Adapt the selections to the trait choices actually unlocked by your Memories.

Hero Memory priorities: Fire Critical Strike Damage, generic Critical Strike Damage and Projectile Speed are strong premium targets. Add trait levels and survival modifiers as needed, then inspect the damage gain in actual boss encounters before paying for a rare Memory.

2. Talents and Passive Tree

Our 103-point allocation keeps the same four talent trees as the proven Profound archetype: Goddess of Hunting (25), Marksman (27), Onslaughter (25) and Warlord (26).

Required Ethereal Prism: Sweeping Fury must be installed in an eligible talent panel and active.
Talent tree Points Our major talent choices
Goddess of Hunting 25 Third time's a charm (12) and Three Birds with One Stone (24). Hasten and movement-based Attack Speed improve farming tempo; extra Projectile Quantity continues to support Dual Resonance.
Marksman 27 Gale (24). Take effective Projectile Speed, Projectile Critical Strike Rating and Critical Strike Damage nodes along the route. Gale converts 60% of Projectile Speed bonuses into an additional bonus for Projectile Damage.
Onslaughter 25 Well Matched (24). Firing at proximity gains up to 40% additional Attack Damage and takes up to 15% less damage from nearby enemies. Favor two-handed weapon, Life and Attack Damage nodes.
Warlord 26 True Flame (24). It applies part of the Affliction Damage Over Time taken bonus to Fire Hit Damage against Ignited targets. Keep a reliable Ignite source and prioritize useful Fire, area and Life Regain talents.
Total 103 A defined four-tree direction using our own major talent choices. Exact small-node connections and a valid Sweeping Fury slot still need planner confirmation.

Goddess of Hunting - Third time's a charm and Three Birds with One Stone

Third time's a charm supplies Hasten and builds Attack Speed from movement made recently. Swift Shadow Raid helps carry the buff between packs. Three Birds with One Stone adds Projectile Quantity, which becomes Projectile Size through Dual Resonance and contributes to the explosion-focused damage pattern. Check the effective quantity limit imposed by Sweeping Fury before buying more Projectile Quantity from expensive items.

Marksman - Gale and Projectile Speed

Gale is a central talent in this version. Wind Projectiles grants both Projectile Speed and an additional damage bonus, and Gale provides a separate benefit from Projectile Speed scaling. Aim for Projectile Critical Strike Rating first, then develop speed and Critical Strike Damage as equipment permits. The more expensive Projectile Speed on Hero Memories is a good longer-term upgrade.

Onslaughter - Well Matched

Well Matched benefits a Carino who moves into range before releasing overlapping Blazing Explosions. Its damage reduction against nearby enemies also makes those closer engagements safer. The bonus falls off with distance, so keep the target near enough when comparing damage on a Training Dummy. The tree remains useful for Life and two-handed bow scaling even after leaving Sweep or Focused Strike behind.

Warlord - True Flame and Fire Hit Scaling

True Flame supports the Magmaskull Affliction package on Ignited targets. Scorch provides additional Fire Damage taken and a chance to Ignite, though Ignite uptime should be checked on the bosses you farm. Keep efficient Fire Damage, Life Regain and suitable area nodes. Avoid buying Fire Resistance interactions that conflict with your other penetration or resistance-reduction effects.

3. Active Skills and Support Links

Two exclusive support gems belong to fixed slots, leaving three normal supports to improve Hit Damage, Penetration and critical strikes. Utility skills are developed around the same goal: keep Carino attacking while maintaining offensive buffs and reliable protection.

[Main DPS] Blazing Bullet

Blazing Bullet converts its Physical attack damage to Fire and detonates when its projectile hits. The final setup uses an aggressive Hit Damage and Critical Strike package. A high-damage bow improves the starting hit, while Sweeping Fury creates extra Main Skill uses from successful hits.

Wind Projectiles and Projectile Penetration provide the foundation. Wind Projectiles grants Projectile Speed and additional damage, while Gale in Marksman makes that speed more valuable. Critical Strike Damage Increase occupies the fourth slot once Critical Strike Rating is high enough. This mobile setup trades away the stationary damage bonus that Willpower could provide.

Fiery Blast (Magnificent) occupies support slot three. Explosion hits build a short-duration debuff on the target, increasing the damage and area of subsequent explosions. The sustained effect is especially helpful against bosses that survive several volleys. The gem also reduces Projectile Damage, making it important to evaluate the explosion portion of the skill rather than the basic projectile alone.

Dual Resonance (Noble) goes into slot five. It fixes the supported skill's Projectile Quantity at one, converts extra quantity into Projectile Size and enables secondary explosions. Multiple secondary explosions can affect the same enemy with a shotgun falloff. This is one reason the endgame build values extra Main Skill casts and concentrated damage.

Sweeping Fury and Dual Resonance: Sweeping Fury triggers additional Main Skill uses after qualifying hits, with a 0.03 second interval and a Projectile Quantity cap of five. Dual Resonance changes how the supported Blazing Bullet uses projectile quantity. Verify the active Prism and test both effects together on a training dummy; the precise number of hits depends on the actual collisions and explosion overlap.

[Mobility] Swift Shadow Raid

Swift Shadow Raid is the primary travel and repositioning skill. It helps cross long gaps between packs and evade large attacks before the next firing window.

[Defensive Skill] Delayed Pain

Delayed Pain helps absorb dangerous incoming bursts. The Profound setup automates this defensive effect and values its uptime during large enemy pulls. Keep the available Life pool and recovery sufficient to handle the damage that remains after mitigation.

[Offensive Empower] Aim

Aim improves ranged offense during longer engagements and supports the high Critical Strike Damage package. Automatic activation is convenient when Carino needs to maintain Heat Up and reposition at the same time.

[Boss Curse] Scorch

Scorch supports Fire Damage against tough enemies. It is valuable when Magmaskull and other Fire Hit multipliers are already in place, especially during the concentrated damage window created by repeated Blazing Bullet detonations.

Offensive option: Burst of Anger can replace Delayed Pain for additional damage, but the alternative creates a Life-drain problem that needs its own solution. For the balanced Profound farming version, keep Delayed Pain. If you prefer automatic main-skill casting, Activation Medium: Motionless is an optional setup change to test with the current energy and activation rules.

4. Passive Skills and Auras

Our high-budget setup favors two Precise damage auras supported by reservation-efficient gems. Its final value depends on Skill Energy, Aura Effect and the available Sealed Mana Compensation. The active skills already demand substantial energy, particularly with full support links and automated buffs.

[Main Projectile Aura] Precise: Precise Projectiles

Our first offensive aura improves Projectile Damage and Projectile Speed, reinforcing the horizontal-projectile setup. Develop the Precise version when the build's Skill Energy supports the full endgame links.

[Secondary Damage Aura] Precise: Cruelty

Precise: Cruelty strengthens the attack-focused damage package. It belongs in the final configuration once both major offensive auras fit alongside the active links.

Defensive alternatives: Elemental Resistance or other defensive passives can help when your crafted gear does not yet provide sufficient protection, though they come at the cost of the finished damage arrangement. Make changes according to the encounters you farm and the reservation available on your character.

5. Leveling and Recommended Progression

This is an expensive Profound configuration. Its final talent and gear package assumes Sweeping Fury from the beginning. A fresh Carino can level with other attacks and earn currency on a simpler setup, including Chromatic Shot, then make the full switch once the Prism and the main damage items are available.

Campaign - Learn Zealot of War

Get comfortable with the magazine, Heat Up and the level-45 Incinerated Glory mechanic. Blazing Bullet is playable early, but a convenient leveling attack may be quicker before the endgame weapon and supports are secured. Use accessible rare weapons and prioritize basic Life and resistances.

Timemark 7 - Use a Farming Setup to Raise Currency

Build a reliable farmer before pursuing the Profound respec. A separate Chromatic Shot route can serve this stage while keeping the same hero. Work toward stronger ammunition and attack-speed management, and save expensive purchases for the finished setup.

Timemark 8 - Secure the Required Items

Acquire Ethereal Prism: Sweeping Fury, the Fiery Blast Magnificent support and Dual Resonance Noble support. A functional two-handed bow and sufficient Skill Energy should be ready before switching to the 103-point damage tree. Test the Prism's extra Main Skill triggers immediately after the respec.

Established T8 - Complete the Hit and Affliction Package

Move into Magmaskull and invest in stronger Critical Strike Rating and Damage. Death's Touch with the critical-damage random affix is a major offensive target. Use Aim and Scorch against tougher enemies, and keep Delayed Pain for survivability.

Profound - Optimize Damage Without Losing Control

Refine the bow, Hero Memories, Divinity Slates and the two Precise auras. The best gains often come from a compatible group of upgrades: more damage from the weapon, reliable critical hits, better Fire Hit scaling and consistent buff uptime. Keep practical defense and movement in the final arrangement.

Before committing to the switch: confirm that Sweeping Fury is active on your talent tree and that your skills and equipment can support repeated Blazing Bullet hits. Our Profound configuration is not a budget T7 build.

6. Gear Setup and Stat Priorities

Magmaskull, Martyr's Staff, Heart of the Storm and Death's Touch remain important to this Fire Hit setup. We pair them with Pale Mist's Embrace or a durable crafted rare belt and supply Wind Projectiles directly from the main skill links, avoiding the specialized Wriggling Tango graft.

Recommended stat priorities
  1. Ethereal Prism: Sweeping Fury active - the build's main mechanical requirement
  2. Strong two-handed weapon damage and appropriate Attack Skill Levels
  3. Reliable Attack Critical Strike Rating, followed by high Critical Strike Damage
  4. Fire Hit Damage, Projectile Speed for Gale, compatible Projectile Damage and Horizontal Projectile Penetration
  5. Projectile Quantity and size interaction with Dual Resonance, within Sweeping Fury's quantity cap
  6. Max Life, Injury Buffer, Elemental Resistances and appropriate recovery; Skill Area for Blazing Explosions
  7. Aura Effect, Skill Energy and reservation efficiency for the complete links
  8. Useful Strength, Dexterity and any remaining attribute requirements

Recommended Equipment

Weapon - Rare Two-Handed Bow

Lonely Hunter's Bow is a featured endgame base for this type of setup. Look for excellent weapon base damage, applicable Attack Skill Levels, Fire Hit scaling and offensive rolls that improve actual explosion damage.

Two-handed weapon damage and Attack Skill Area become more important with the Onslaughter tree. Prioritize the main weapon as a major investment.

Helmet - Magmaskull

Magmaskull provides the important Affliction interaction for this Fire Hit build. It changes initial Affliction, makes Affliction increase Fire Hit Damage taken and supports the Main Skill with a high-level Cataclysm. The extra source of damage is especially valuable when Blazing Bullet repeatedly hits the same tough enemy.

Look closely at the actual Affliction roll and helmet tier. A defensive rare can bridge the gap before the complete damage package.

Body Armour - Martyr's Staff

Martyr's Staff provides a large bonus to Max Life, stats and Injury Buffer. It provides meaningful defense while the talent trees focus on offensive scaling. Pair it with Delayed Pain and sufficient recovery to survive heavy hits while positioning for critical explosions.

Necklace - Heart of the Storm

Heart of the Storm creates a windfield and raises Storm Effect as horizontal projectile attacks are used. It is a strong match for prolonged Blazing Bullet firing and also provides useful defensive stats. A high-value corrupted version can add Attack Projectile Damage.

Gloves - Death's Touch with Critical Strike Damage

Death's Touch improves two-handed weapon damage and attack speed. Seek the Critical Strike Damage random affix: it is particularly attractive in the completed high-crit setup, while a flat weapon-damage or Critical Strike Rating roll may provide a smaller upgrade. If your critical chance is still low, fix it elsewhere before overspending.

Belt - Pale Mist's Embrace / Defensive Crafted Rare

Pale Mist's Embrace provides Elemental Resistance, 20-30% Skill Area and an effect that applies 25% of increases or decreases to Skill Area to Area Damage, up to 100%. This is a practical offensive direction for the overlapping Blazing Explosions. It has a small flat Life bonus, so a well-crafted rare with larger Life, resistances and attributes may be better while defenses are unfinished.

Rings - Rare Myriad Radiance Ward Rings

The two Myriad Radiance Ward Ring bases provide Elemental Resistance and room for premium crafted affixes. Develop suitable attributes, Life and applicable attack or critical modifiers. These are important slots for keeping the character durable after committing several equipment positions to damage.

Boots - Rare Boots

Secret Shadow's Shoes - evaluate their complete item rolls against the mobility, resistance and defensive requirements of your character. A well-crafted rare with Movement Speed and Life remains a practical temporary choice while the rest of the equipment comes together.

Upgrade judgment: test damage on durable targets. Magmaskull, critical scaling, Fiery Blast's stacking debuff and Sweeping Fury's additional casts reinforce each other, so replacing a single premium item can shift the value of other affixes.

7. Ethereal Prism, Hero Memories and Endgame Refinement

Our character is built around the Sweeping Fury Prism, with Hero Memories, crafted rings and Divinity Slates filling out its damage and defense. The most expensive upgrades make sense only after the Prism is installed and the main skill is triggering reliably.

Required Ethereal Prism

Ethereal Prism: Sweeping Fury replaces the eligible core talent and adds extra Main Skill casts after qualifying hits. Use the correct talent panel and ensure its effect is active. It is the central required item in this guide.

Hero Memories

Seek Fire Critical Strike Damage, Critical Strike Damage and Projectile Speed on compatible Zealot of War Memories. Projectile Speed benefits Gale in our Marksman tree, while defensive rolls remain important in longer fights.

Divinity Slates

Projectile and Attack Damage, Crit, Skill Area and defensive bonuses suit the build. Useful pedigree options include Sweep, Three Birds with One Stone, Survival Will, Shooting Arrows, Rapid Shots, Judgment and Rushed, depending on the final arrangement.

Pactspirits

Flower Whisperer is particularly helpful for Projectile Damage and Attack Critical Strike Rating. Without it, prioritize extra critical chance through gear, slates and other available Pact bonuses before investing heavily in Critical Strike Damage.

How Sweeping Fury Changes the Main Skill

Sweeping Fury adds another Main Skill cast after a qualifying horizontal-projectile hit. Its projectiles spread in a ring and deal reduced damage; the mechanic has an interval of 0.03 seconds and a projectile-quantity upper limit of five. Dual Resonance separately fixes the supported Blazing Bullet to one projectile and turns extra quantity into greater Projectile Size. Together they produce a distinctive explosion pattern, although the number of actual hits still depends on the target's size and positioning.

Critical Strike and Affliction Balance

Our Crit Damage scaling performs best once Critical Strike Rating is dependable. Death's Touch, strong Hero Memories and the fourth support slot then become attractive ways to raise damage. Magmaskull adds a separate Fire Hit multiplier through Affliction; consider this interaction when comparing an offensive helmet to a safer defensive rare.

Defensive Layers

Martyr's Staff grants Max Life and Injury Buffer while Delayed Pain covers heavy incoming damage. Keep Elemental Resistances and recovery in order, and use Swift Shadow Raid to avoid telegraphed attacks. The optional Burst of Anger swap is most appropriate after this foundation is stable.

High-budget goal: complete the weapon and helmet synergy, secure the two exclusive supports, then refine Critical Strike Damage, Memories, slates and the Pactspirit page. A valid, active Sweeping Fury Prism is the first requirement, not the last upgrade.

Final Thoughts

Blazing Bullet Carino 3 becomes an impressive Profound marksman when its extra casts, Fire Hit scaling and critical explosions are working together. Sweeping Fury makes the greatest difference: it adds Main Skill uses that turn individual hits into a much more active barrage, while Fiery Blast and Dual Resonance reward repeated explosions.

Ethereal Prism: Sweeping Fury is required for the version presented here. Our Wind Projectiles and Gale combination supports mobile farming, while Pale Mist's Embrace or a crafted rare belt avoids the specialized Wriggling Tango graft. Secure the Prism before committing to the costly weapon and exclusive supports, then finish the character with a reliable critical-hit setup.
