Berserker's Technique Berserker Lost Ark Build
A DPS setup that utilizes the Berserker's Technique Class Engraving Berserker's Technique Berserker
PvE Raiding Build
for Lost Ark
Last Update: 30th May 2022
Introduction
Berserker couples a set of Heavy Armor with a gigantic 2-Handed Sword and a complete disregard for his own safety. He's a fierce, and fairly mobile, offensively-focused melee fighter that can withstand quite a lot of incoming damage. His AoE attacks are among the easiest to use, thanks to their wide arcs. He has a tremendous burst damage potential that comes from His Awakening Skills. Berserker has two Raid-worthy builds, both centered around his Class Engravings:
Berserker's Technique and
Mayhem. The following build makes use of the former.
Berserker's Technique Berserker, thanks to his signature Engraving, does not suffer from the Exhaustion debuff after his Burst Mode ends. Moreover, he takes huge advantage of a massively increased Crit Damage when the Burst Mode is active. Sadly, unlike the Mayhem Berserker, He can't simply stay in the Burst Mode for as long as He likes. As a result, Berserker's Technique Berserker has two distinct combat phases: A burst phase when he obliterates everything in his Burst Mode and has access to a powerful nuke Skill -
Bloody Rush, and a build-up phase when he generates his Fury Meter and feels a bit sluggish.

Stat Priority
|
Berserker's Technique Berserker benefits from highly increased Crit Damage, Crit Rate, Attack Speed, and Movement Speed when in Burst Mode. Because of this Crit and Swiftness are not his top priority. Instead, he focuses on Specialization, which increases his Fury Meter gains, improves his Awakening Skill, and makes his Burst Mode last longer. The recommended Stat Build for a Berserker's Technique Berserker is:

![]() HELL BLADE |
Berserker thrusts his greatsword into the ground, dealing moderate amounts of damage. Hold the skill for 1.5s to make him attack another 6 times and inflict even more damage. If you hit the Perfect Zone, Berserker will deliver a finishing blow that deals very high amounts of damage and launches enemies in the air. This Skill serves two purposes. Firstly, it can be used as a handy repositioning tool and a gap closer that also deals solid Damage. Secondly, it deals massive Stagger which makes it one of your main tools for dealing with Stagger Checks.

![]() STRIKE WAVE |
Berserker concentrates energy on his greatsword and releases it forward, cleaving the ground. This skill can be charged for 0.8s to deal moderate amounts of damage before being fully charged, and very high amounts of damage when overcharged. This offensive skill deals its damage in 4 separate hits that go out in a wave pattern. Depending on the boss's hitbox, you might not be able to land all 4 hits, sadly. With enough practice, you should be able to land at least 3 on any boss.

Recommended Engravings
This powerful Engraving takes your Burst Mode to a completely new level by greatly improving your Crit Damage while Bursting. Also, it takes care of one of Berserker's biggest problems; the Exhaustion debuff that prevents him from generating Fury Meter for 30 seconds after the Burst Mode ends. In other words, |
This Engraving is extremely powerful, but it will punish you if you make a mistake. As a Berserker's Technique Berserker, you're actually quite resilient, so this Engraving poses less risk than normal. Pick it up if you feel like you can avoid most (or all) avoidable damage during boss encounters. If you're still learning mechanics, you'll be better off skipping it. It's only worth using at Level 3, so never use it at level 2 and especially 1 (unless you want to take 5% more damage for every 1% increase in your own DPS). |
This is a must-have as your Awakening Skill not only hits extremely high but also generates a lot of Fury Meter. Because of this, |
This Engraving can increase your overall DPS rather significantly, but the tradeoff is painful. Only pick it if you are able to avoid most of the incoming damage; If you lack experience, skip it. Also, using this at Levels 1 and 2 is not worth the risks involved (so, use it at Level 3 or don't use it at all). |
While this does not provide a Damage Boost by itself, it can be combined with Raid Captain to generate it. This works well with your Burst Mode as combining multiple Movement Speed buffs greatly increases mobility. |
With Level 3 |
The more Crit Rate you have, the more powerful this Engraving becomes. Berserker's Technique Berserker receives a solid Crit Rate bonus during his Burst Mode, so this is a solid choice. |
Most of the attacks you will be using have the Back Attack modifier. Because of this, |
Gear Sets, Gems, Cards, etc.
