Seer Build
Last Update: August 14, 2026
Introduction
Seer is not really about being the biggest damage dealer in the squad. The class is much more about keeping the team alive, controlling the fight and making sure your teammates can keep doing their job.
We don’t recommend playing this setup solo, as its strength lies in the support capabilities it provides to your squad.
This build focuses on the Reverent path and the Catalyst, with a support playstyle built around healing, shielding, Rune placement and keeping your team stable during longer fights.
It is not a passive healer build where you stand in the back and press Heal whenever somebody loses HP. You want to actively position your Runes, land your empowered attacks and use your defensive tools before the situation becomes a problem.
The current setup also benefits from the august Seer adjustments. Healing Rune and Punishment Rune have shorter channel times, while Ebb and Flow has a larger hitbox on its enhanced orbs, making the support rotation more reliable than it was before.
Build Overview
| Damage: | Survivability: | ||
| Mobility: | Ease of Play: |
Pros:
- Excellent healing and defensive utility for coordinated teams.
- Strong protection through Healing Rune, shields and Death Ward.
- Good control and useful utility as the only support in the game.
Cons:
- Raw damage is noticeably lower than dedicated DPS classes.
- Missing empowered attacks can hurt both your healing output and overall Energy economy.
Recommended Skills
Healing Rune

This is the skill that makes the build a real support setup. Place Healing Rune where your team is actually going to fight, not somewhere behind you because it is safer. The Rune is much more useful when your allies can stay inside it while still dealing damage.
Stealth Rune

Stealth Rune gives the team another defensive option and can help break enemy vision during a dangerous engagement. It is not something you should throw down randomly. Save it for moments when hiding, repositioning or denying information actually changes the fight.
Burst Rune

Burst Rune gives the build another way to contribute pressure without abandoning the support role. Use it when the team is already in position and you can safely add damage or pressure while still keeping your healing tools available.
Wind Surge

Wind Surge fits this build's playstyle because it gives you another way to control positioning. It is particularly useful when the team needs to move, escape an engage or create a better angle for your Runes.
Death Ward

Death Ward is one of the strongest reasons to bring a support Seer. It can prevent an ally from dying when the enemy finally gets the opening they were looking for. Do not waste it on small amounts of damage. Keep it for the moment when somebody is actually in danger.
Alternative: Punishment Rune

Punishment Rune can replace Burst Rune when you want more zone pressure and a more active offensive setup. It also benefits from the recent reduction to its channeling time, so it is a much more practical alternative when your team does not need every possible defensive tool.
The basic idea is simple: place your Runes, keep your team healthy, use Wind Surge to manage space and save Death Ward for the moment that actually matters.
Best Talents
Ebb and Flow
This is one of the key talents for the support version of Seer. After hitting an enemy player with the empowered attack, it can recover Health for the ally with the lowest Health. The bigger orb hitbox also makes this part of the build more reliable after the recent balance change.
Reshape
Reshape gives your shields more value when they are not immediately broken. This is especially useful between engagements, where the shield can recover instead of simply disappearing and leaving your teammate exposed for the next fight.
Leverage
Leverage improves Dodge Energy recovery for allies inside the Windwalker Rune area. It is a very nice team utility talent because it does not just keep people alive, it also helps them move and dodge more freely.
Shelter
Shelter adds another defensive layer to Death Ward. When the death-prevention effect ends, the protected target receives a shield. This makes Death Ward more than a single emergency button and gives the target a better chance to survive the few seconds after the save.
These are the core talent choices for the support version. The rest of the points can be adjusted depending on whether you play mostly PvE, PvP or coordinated trios, but the general direction should stay the same: healing, shields, Rune utility and reliable defensive value.
It is not worth spreading your talent points randomly across offensive options just because they look good. Seer already has limited raw damage compared with dedicated DPS classes. The build should instead make the support tools as reliable as possible.
Victory Wine
Victory Wine should be used to finish the Affix breakpoints your gear is missing. Do not just put every point into Valor because it is an offensive Affix. For Seer, your support Affixes are what make the build actually do its job.
The main Affixes for this Reverent setup are Eloquence, Fervid, Tenacious, Stoic and Unyielding. Eloquence improves the core support side of the build, while Fervid helps with resource and ability uptime. Tenacious and Stoic give you more room to survive when enemies start focusing the Seer.
You do not need every Affix at Level 5. If your equipment already gives you an important breakpoint, leave it there and spend the Wine somewhere else. It is not better to have one Affix at Level 7 while another useful breakpoint is still missing.
Recommended Affixes:
- Eloquence – reach Level 5 first. This is the main Affix for the Reverent support setup because it directly improves the effectiveness of your support skills and healing.
- Fervid – aim for Level 5. Fervid helps with resource regeneration and ability uptime, which is extremely useful on a Seer that needs to keep healing, shielding and placing Runes during longer fights.
- Tenacious – aim for the next useful breakpoint. More maximum HP and sustain give Seer a better chance to stay alive when the enemy team decides that the healer should be the first target.
- Stoic – aim for the next useful breakpoint. Crowd control resistance is valuable for a support class because getting locked down at the wrong moment can be much worse than simply taking damage.
- Unyielding – secondary defensive priority. Unyielding gives you an additional safety net in difficult situations, especially in PvP or harder content where getting focused can happen very quickly.
| Affix | Target | Priority | Why |
| Eloquence | Level 5+ | Core healing and support effectiveness. | |
| Fervid | Level 5 | Better resource regeneration and ability uptime. | |
| Tenacious | Level 3–5 | More HP and sustain for a class that can be focused. | |
| Stoic | Level 3–5 | Improves resistance to crowd control and status effects. | |
| Unyielding | Level 3–5 | Extra safety when taking lethal damage. |
Eloquence and Fervid are the two Affixes I would secure first. After that, build enough Tenacious and Stoic to survive the content you are actually playing. Unyielding is a good final defensive layer when your gear gives you room for it.
God's Brew is useful when you are trying to finish several support breakpoints at once. The rule does not change though: check your total Affix levels before spending the points.
Weapon Setup
Catalyst - Main Support Weapon
The Catalyst is the natural weapon for this build because it unlocks the Reverent support kit. Your goal is not to maximize the weapon's personal damage. The important part is getting enough Attack and useful defensive stats to make your healing and shield scaling stronger while still staying alive.
The support Catalyst works best when you treat the battlefield almost like a small puzzle. Put your Healing Rune where your team wants to stand, use Stealth Rune when vision or repositioning matters and keep Death Ward for the player who is actually about to go down.
It is not about pressing everything immediately. It is about making your team feel like they have one extra life and better options during the fight.
Gear & Affixes
This Seer setup is built around the Reverent playstyle and focuses on healing, support and survivability. The gear progression starts with the lower-rarity Martyr's and True Prayer options, but the two important stages for this guide are Enlightenment Excellent gear and the Legendary Holy Saint's endgame set.
Recommended Gear Setup
Excellent / Progression Setup
For Excellent gear, aim for the Enlightenment set. This is the main progression set to work toward before moving into the Legendary tier. Combat Value still matters, but this is also the point where you should start paying much more attention to your total Affix levels.
Armor:
- Enlightenment armor pieces.
- Prioritize useful Eloquence and Fervid rolls.
- Add Tenacious or Stoic when you need more survivability.
Weapon:
- Use the best available Catalyst.
- Prioritize useful Attack and support-oriented Affixes.
- Do not sacrifice a large amount of survivability just to gain a small amount of personal damage.
You can still use better pieces from the Martyr's or True Prayer progression if they give you a stronger overall setup. It is not about replacing every item at the same time. Build toward the better set while keeping your important Affix breakpoints.
Legendary / Endgame Setup
The long-term target for this Seer setup is the Holy Saint's Legendary set. This is where you should aim once you are ready to build the complete endgame version of the character.
Armor:
- Holy Saint's armor pieces.
- Prioritize the Affixes needed to complete your main breakpoints.
- Use defensive Affixes to improve consistency in harder content.
Other Gear:
- Best available Catalyst.
- Prioritize useful support and defensive Affixes across the remaining equipment.
Affix rolls to look for:
- Eloquence
- Fervid
- Tenacious
- Stoic
- Unyielding
Do not expect every Holy Saint's piece to have every important Affix. The character is built as a whole. Get as many important levels as possible from your gear, then use Sigils and Victory Wine to finish the remaining breakpoints.
For the Catalyst, prioritize Combat Value together with useful support Affixes. The stronger choice is the one that improves the overall support setup.
Affix & Sigil Priority
Sigils should be used to complete the Affix levels your equipment is missing. Because socket shapes can vary between pieces, including Square, Triangle and Rectangle, build around your total Affix levels instead of trying to force one specific Affix onto one item.
| Affix | Target | Priority | Purpose |
| Eloquence | Level 5+ | Core healing and support scaling. | |
| Fervid | Level 5 | Improves resource flow and ability uptime. | |
| Tenacious | Level 3–5 | Extra HP and additional survivability. | |
| Stoic | Level 3–5 | Additional protection against crowd control and status effects. | |
| Unyielding | Level 3–5 | Extra safety when taking lethal damage. |
Eloquence and Fervid are the main priorities. Tenacious and Stoic come next when you need more consistency and survivability, while Unyielding is a useful defensive layer for harder content.
One important thing: do not force an Affix to Level 5 just because the table says Level 5. If your equipment already gives you the breakpoint, spend those Sigils somewhere else. The goal is not to make one Affix look perfect. The goal is to build the strongest overall set of breakpoints.
How to Play Seer
Playing Seer well is mostly about knowing what is going to happen a few seconds from now. You are not reacting to every lost HP point. You are preparing the team for the next dangerous moment.
1. Place Healing Rune Before the Fight Gets Messy
Try to place Healing Rune where your team expects to fight. It is not better to hide it somewhere far away just because the Rune is safer there. Your teammates need to actually use it.
2. Land Your Empowered Attacks
Ebb and Flow rewards you for actually connecting your empowered attacks. This means Seer is not completely passive. Look for safe opportunities to hit enemy players, especially when doing so also helps recover Health for the ally who needs it most.
3. Use Runes to Control Space
Stealth Rune and Wind Surge are not only escape tools. They can change where the fight happens. Use them to make enemy pushes awkward, help your team reposition and stop the fight from becoming a situation where everybody is standing in the same tiny area.
4. Save Death Ward for the Real Danger
Death Ward should not be thrown on somebody who lost a small chunk of HP. Wait for the moment when an ally is genuinely in danger of going down. With Shelter, the target also gets another defensive layer after the death-prevention effect ends.
5. Stay Alive
This sounds obvious, but it is probably the easiest mistake to make on Seer. If you die while trying to save everybody else, the team suddenly loses its healer and defensive utility. Back away when you need to. You are not supposed to tank the whole fight.
The general rhythm is simple: prepare the area, heal and shield, land empowered attacks when safe, control the space and save Death Ward for the moment that can actually decide the fight.
PvE vs PvP
PvE
PvE is where the support Seer can feel very comfortable, especially in a coordinated group. Healing Rune gives your team a reliable place to recover, while Death Ward can completely change a dangerous boss or elite encounter.
Against groups, focus on keeping your team stable rather than trying to compete with the DPS classes. Your job is to make their damage windows safer and keep mistakes from turning into deaths.
PvP
PvP is much more about positioning and reading the enemy engage. Stealth Rune, Wind Surge and Death Ward become extremely valuable because enemy players will actively look for the moment when the Seer is separated from the rest of the team.
The august balance changes also show the intended direction of the class: Reverent can kite and support very effectively, but its raw damage remains on the weaker side. In PvP, that means you should win fights through utility, positioning and keeping your team alive rather than trying to out-DPS dedicated damage classes.
The build works in both modes, but it is strongest when your teammates understand what the Seer is trying to do. PvE gives you more predictable damage patterns, while PvP asks you to react much faster to positioning and enemy pressure.
Final Thoughts
Reverent Seer is a great choice if you like being the player who quietly keeps the whole team together. Your sole purpose is making sure somebody survives long enough to deal with enemies.
The build does take some practice because good Seer play is about timing. Healing too early can leave you without an answer later, while saving everything for too long can get somebody killed. You need to find that middle ground.
The current Catalyst setup is in a much better place for this role thanks to the recent channeling and Ebb and Flow changes. For now, if you want a Seer build that focuses on healing, shielding and reliable team utility without making the setup unnecessarily complicated, this is a very solid place to start.
