Mistfall Hunter - Best PvP Classes Tier List

Discover the strongest PvP builds in Mistfall Hunter Season 1 and see which classes and weapon specializations dominate the current meta.

Mistfall Hunter Season 1 PvP Tier List

Last Update: August 11, 2026

Introduction

With the full release of Mistfall Hunter and the arrival of Season 1, the PvP meta continues to evolve as players discover new strategies, builds, and gear combinations.

This tier list ranks the strongest PvP builds currently available, helping players understand which setups are most effective when fighting other players. Whether you are looking for a strong build to compete with or simply want to understand the current meta, these rankings provide a quick overview of the most competitive options.

PvP performance can change significantly as balance updates are introduced and new strategies emerge. We will continue updating this tier list throughout Season 1 to reflect the current state of the PvP meta.

Build Rankings Explained

This tier list ranks individual PvP builds based on their overall effectiveness in player-versus-player combat. Unlike PvE rankings, the focus here is on factors such as burst damage, mobility, survivability, crowd control, ranged pressure, and consistency.

Player skill, positioning, matchups, and team composition can have a major impact on PvP performance. Because of this, the rankings represent the overall potential of each build rather than guaranteeing that one build will always defeat another.

The current meta strongly favors Shadowstrix, Blackarrow, and Sorcerer, with multiple builds from each class reaching S Tier. Their combination of strong damage, mobility, pressure, and engagement tools makes them particularly effective against other players. More specialized builds such as Seer can also provide exceptional value in coordinated teams, while Mercenary and Withered Knight generally rely more heavily on defensive tools and favorable matchups.

S Tier

Shadowstrix

Shadowstrix – Dual Blades

One of the strongest all-around PvP builds thanks to its combination of mobility, burst damage, and Wound and Stagger pressure. Dual Blades can quickly close the distance, punish exposed opponents, and reposition before the enemy can properly respond. Its strong mobility also makes it relatively forgiving compared to slower melee builds.

Shadowstrix

Shadowstrix – Daggers

A highly aggressive burst build that excels at surprise engagements and eliminating vulnerable targets. Stealth gives it excellent control over when fights begin, allowing experienced players to create favorable openings. It requires better positioning and timing than Dual Blades, but its ability to dictate engagements gives it extremely high PvP potential.

Blackarrow

Blackarrow – Ailment Hunter

A very strong ranged PvP build that combines high damage with constant pressure from Ailments. It can punish opponents from a distance while forcing them to respect its damage-over-time effects. Its main limitation is that getting the most out of the build requires accurate aiming and good positioning, making its performance more dependent on player skill.

Blackarrow

Blackarrow – Paralyze Hunter

A powerful ranged control build that sacrifices some of the Ailment setup's consistency for stronger Paralyze-based pressure. Successfully landing attacks can create opportunities to lock down opponents and secure kills before they can escape. Like other Blackarrow builds, however, it relies heavily on accurate aiming and positioning to reach its full potential.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer – Elemental

A strong PvP burst build with excellent ability to pressure multiple opponents and punish grouped players. Its elemental abilities provide powerful ranged damage while allowing the Sorcerer to maintain distance from dangerous melee builds. Strong burst combined with relatively straightforward execution makes it one of the more reliable high-tier PvP choices.

Sorcerer

Sorcerer – Stardust

A burst-focused setup that specializes in punishing priority targets and converting openings into fast kills. Stardust provides strong focused pressure and works particularly well when the player can control the pace of the engagement. It requires more deliberate ability timing than Elemental, but experienced players can extract extremely high value from it.

A Tier

Seer

Seer – Blasphemer

A highly specialized PvP build that brings strong anti-healing and crowd-control utility while still maintaining meaningful offensive pressure. Its ability to disrupt enemy sustain makes it particularly valuable against defensive or healing-focused opponents. Its placement would likely be even higher if the ranking focused exclusively on coordinated 3-player teams, where its utility can have a much greater impact on the outcome of a fight.

Mercenary

Mercenary – Sword & Shield

A defensive PvP build that relies on survivability, reliable melee pressure, and the ability to stay in close-range fights. It is considerably easier to play consistently than aim-dependent ranged builds such as Blackarrow, making it a reliable choice for players who prefer a more straightforward playstyle. Its lower offensive ceiling keeps it below the strongest burst builds.

Withered Knight

Withered Knight – Polearm & Shield

A durable control-oriented build with strong defensive tools and useful reach. Its ability to control space and survive extended engagements makes it particularly effective against aggressive melee opponents. It is more forgiving than many offensive builds, although it generally has a lower burst ceiling and can struggle to finish opponents as quickly as S Tier choices.

Seer

Seer – Reverent

A dedicated healing and support build that can provide enormous value in coordinated PvP teams. Its direct offensive potential is limited compared to the higher-ranked damage builds, which lowers its overall placement in a general PvP ranking. However, in a dedicated 3-player team, Reverent would rank significantly higher because sustained healing and support can dramatically increase the team's ability to survive prolonged fights.

B Tier

Mercenary

Mercenary – Hammer

A straightforward melee build with strong Stagger potential and respectable burst when it can maintain pressure on an opponent. Its simple playstyle makes it relatively easy to pick up compared to more mechanically demanding ranged builds, but its shorter effective range and more situational engagement opportunities make it less consistent in high-level PvP.

Withered Knight

Withered Knight – Greatsword

A melee burst setup that can punish opponents when it successfully creates openings through its defensive and Parry mechanics. It can deal strong damage in the right situation, but its effectiveness depends more heavily on correctly reading the opponent and finding opportunities to engage. Compared with Polearm & Shield, it offers less reliable control and survivability, keeping it in B Tier.

Final Thoughts

Season 1 is still developing, and the PvP meta in Mistfall Hunter will continue to change as players discover new builds, gear combinations, and strategies. Balance changes can also significantly affect the effectiveness and placement of individual builds.

Keep in mind that tier placement is not an absolute measure of a build's strength. Player skill, positioning, matchups, and team composition can have a major impact on PvP performance. Some builds may also perform significantly better in coordinated trio teams than they do in solo PvP.

We will continue updating this tier list as the meta develops and new strategies emerge. Whether you are looking for a strong meta build or simply want to find a playstyle that fits you, this ranking should provide a useful starting point for choosing your next PvP build.
