Best Stats & Manastones for Every Class - AION 2 Guide
Best stats, Manastones, and endgame rolls for all AION 2 classes, with practical PvE priorities and gearing advice.Best Stats & Manastones for Every Class
AION 2
Last Update: October 7, 2026
Introduction
AION 2 gives you several ways to improve the same piece of equipment, which makes a simple question surprisingly important: which stats are actually worth keeping? An Item Level upgrade can arrive with weak Soul Binding lines. A Manastone can roll Attack, Accuracy, Critical Hit, or one of several much rarer damage multipliers. Then your class adds another layer of priorities on top of that.
The Global Season 1 meta is already separating useful rolls from expensive distractions. Melee classes care about positional damage, ranged classes need to account for their own Crit and Accuracy buffs, and Cleric has perhaps the biggest trap of all: its healing scales from Attack, so blindly stacking defensive stats can weaken both sides of the class.
This guide focuses on PvE stat priority for all eight Global classes, with early-game Manastone recommendations, endgame Superior rolls, Soul Binding advice, and a shorter PvP section. The purpose of these priorities is to highlight which stats deserve your resources, where important caps and breakpoints exist, and when a rare roll is valuable enough to keep.
Best Stats for Every Class at a Glance
| Class | Main PvE Priority | Best Endgame Manastone Rolls | Important Check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gladiator | Front Attack Damage Boost, Double Chance, Weapon/Critical Damage Boost | Front Attack > Weapon / Critical / Damage Boost | Enough Accuracy; useful Combat Speed breakpoint |
| Templar | Front Attack Damage Boost, Double Chance, Weapon/Critical Damage Boost | Front Attack > Weapon / Critical Damage Boost | Accuracy for reliable threat; HP/Defense if survival is the problem |
| Assassin | Back Attack Damage Boost, Double Chance, Critical Hit, Weapon/Critical Damage Boost | Back Attack > Weapon / Critical / Damage Boost | Crit is part of Heart Gore's engine |
| Ranger | Front Attack Damage Boost, Weapon Damage Boost, Crit/Damage Boost | Front Attack > Weapon > Critical / Damage Boost | Count Marking Shot and other buffs before adding more Crit |
| Spiritmaster | Double Chance, damage multipliers, Crit and enough Accuracy | Damage / Weapon / Critical / Front Attack Boost | Double Chance is excellent but does not roll on Manastones |
| Sorcerer | Weapon Damage Boost, Front/Critical Damage Boost, Cooldown Reduction | Weapon > Front / Critical Damage Boost | Cooldown Reduction comes mainly from other systems |
| Cleric | Attack, Cooldown Reduction, Weapon/Critical Damage Boost | Weapon / Critical > Damage / Front Attack Boost | Attack also improves healing |
| Chanter | Double Chance, Front or Back Attack, Weapon Damage Boost | Front/Back Attack > Weapon Damage Boost | Accuracy can be tight early; positional choice depends on your group |
Manastones, Soulstones and Soul Binding Are Different Things
A lot of launch discussion throws every random stat line into the same bucket. The game does not. Manastones are socketed into weapons and armour. Soulstones fill the corresponding lines on accessories. Each stone gives one random stat line, and the stone disappears when you replace or transfer the item.
Soul Binding belongs to the equipment itself. Those lines can be improved, individually rerolled, or reset and normally survive an eligible Transfer to the next piece. The extra Soul Fuse line is the exception and does not transfer. This difference matters because it changes how much you should invest in transitional gear.

Manastones / Soulstones
- One random stat per stone
- Manastones: Weapon and Armour
- Soulstones: Accessories
- Add +1 to +4 Item Level depending on roll quality
- Do not survive gear Transfer
Soul Binding Lines
- Part of the equipment itself
- Can be raised or individually rerolled
- Can include class skill/passive lines
- Normally survive eligible Transfer
- Soul Fuse line does not transfer
For a fresh 45, a cheap Attack, Crit, or Accuracy stone is perfectly serviceable. Save expensive stones for equipment you expect to keep. Premium stones become much easier to justify once the item is no longer one dungeon away from replacement.
Why the Best Manastone Is Often a Damage Multiplier
Basic stones roll familiar stats such as Attack, Critical Hit, Accuracy, HP, or Evasion. The valuable endgame chase begins with Superior Manastones and Superior Abyssal Manastones, because those can also roll Damage Boost, Weapon Damage Boost, Critical Damage Boost, Front Attack Damage Boost, and Back Attack Damage Boost.
These are separate damage multipliers. They become particularly attractive after your character already has a healthy amount of flat Attack. A yellow damage line gives 100 Boost, which corresponds to 1% of the relevant Boost stat on the character sheet.
Extremely strong when your class can maintain the correct position. Gladiator and Templar naturally fight from the front; Assassin is built around the back.
A broadly useful multiplier and one of the safest premium rolls. It appears near the top of almost every current PvE recommendation.
Strong when you already crit consistently. Less valuable while Critical Hit is still low, and somewhat less urgent on classes that already receive large Crit Damage buffs.
Universal and useful, though usually a little behind the more specialized multipliers in pure PvE damage efficiency.
Reliable, easy to understand, and excellent while gearing. It is also much more common than premium multiplier rolls.
Essential until they do their job. Once the relevant cap or content requirement is covered, another damage stat becomes more valuable.
Premium damage rolls are genuinely rare. On a Superior non-Abyss stone, each individual damage line occupies only a very small part of the roll pool. Do not discard a useful positional or Weapon Damage roll just because it is not the maximum possible value.
Critical Hit, Accuracy and Combat Speed Need Context
These three stats cause a lot of bad gearing decisions because their value changes sharply depending on what you already have.
Global's character sheet caps Critical Hit rate at 50%. Class buffs and skill effects can contribute a large amount of Crit, so the number you need from gear is different for Ranger, Assassin, Sorcerer, Cleric, and the other classes.
Accuracy counters the target's defensive checks. There is no single useful number for every dungeon and every PvP opponent. If important attacks are being blocked, parried, or avoided, fix Accuracy before adding another small damage multiplier.
Combat Speed often works through practical animation or hit-count breakpoints. Adding a little may change nothing, while the next chunk can improve the rotation noticeably. It is useful on several classes, but you should test the breakpoint before adding more.
Many community guides still refer to this stat as Smite. It gives a chance for an additional damage event and is excellent for several classes. The important catch is that ordinary Manastones do not roll it, so you need to obtain it from other systems.
Gladiator - Best Stats and Manastones

PvE Priority
Front AttackDouble ChanceWeapon DamageCritical DamageGladiator spends most boss fights at the front, whether tanking or standing beside a Templar. Front Attack Damage Boost therefore has very reliable uptime.
Manastones
Front AttackWeapon DamageCritical DamageDamage BoostUse Attack, Crit, or Accuracy while gearing. On long-term equipment, Superior Front Attack rolls are the premium target.
Front Attack Damage Boost is the standout roll because Gladiator's normal PvE position already satisfies it. Double Chance is also excellent, helped by Impact Hit and Lunge Stance, but it has to come from systems other than Manastones. Weapon Damage Boost, Critical Damage Boost, and ordinary Damage Boost make strong secondary targets.
Do not ignore Combat Speed. Gladiator's hit counts can change at specific speed breakpoints, so a useful Combat Speed Soul Binding line may outperform a prettier-looking stat that does not alter the rotation. Accuracy remains a practical requirement, especially while tanking or in PvP.
Templar - Best Stats and Manastones

PvE Priority
Front AttackDouble ChanceWeapon DamageCritical DamageThe tank attacks from the front by design, making positional damage unusually dependable. Damage also contributes to threat.
When Survival Matters
HPDefenseAccuracyA progression tank that is dying to ordinary boss damage gains more from surviving than from another small DPS increase. Fix the actual problem first.
Templar looks like the class that should automatically fill every socket with HP, but current Global gearing is more nuanced. Front Attack Damage Boost is one of its best offensive multipliers, while Fury and the class's threat mechanics reward a tank that continues dealing reliable damage. Weapon Damage Boost and Critical Damage Boost follow naturally.
Accuracy deserves more attention here than it does on a comfortable back-attacking Assassin. Missed or blocked attacks can cost threat, and PvP opponents bring much more Block and Evasion than a stationary boss. On difficult progression, HP and Defense are sensible defensive alternatives.
Assassin - Best Stats and Manastones

PvE Priority
Back AttackDouble ChanceCritical HitWeapon DamageAssassin gains more from correct positioning than any other launch class. Several important attacks are designed around staying behind the target.
Manastones
Back AttackWeapon DamageCritical DamageDamage BoostA strong Attack line is a fine temporary result. The rare Back Attack multiplier is the roll worth protecting on endgame gear.
Back Attack Damage Boost is the obvious premium target. Assassin already wants to stay behind the boss for Triniel's Dagger, Ambush, Rear Smite, and the class's general combat pattern. Hits from behind also ignore Block, which makes pure PvE Accuracy less urgent than it is for front-facing melee classes.
Critical Hit is still crucial. Heart Gore becomes available after a crit, so Crit is part of how the rotation functions. Build toward the practical cap, then stop. Weapon Damage Boost and Critical Damage Boost become much better once Crit is already healthy. Combat Speed is useful at breakpoints, but small speed gains should be tested before you invest heavily in them.
Ranger - Best Stats and Manastones

PvE Priority
Front AttackWeapon DamageCritical DamageDamage BoostRanger normally attacks from range in front of the target, making Front Attack Damage Boost a reliable endgame multiplier.
Watch Your Buffs
Critical HitAccuracyMarking Shot's Precision adds a large amount of Crit, and Bow of Blessing adds more during burst. Do not gear as if those buffs do not exist.
Ranger is a good example of why stat priorities need context. Front Attack Damage Boost and Weapon Damage Boost are excellent premium rolls, while Critical Damage Boost and Damage Boost remain strong secondary options. A fresh Ranger can still gain a lot from plain Attack and Accuracy before Superior stones become plentiful.
Critical Hit deserves some arithmetic before you spend on it. Marking Shot provides Precision, and the class has additional temporary Crit buffs. Build enough sheet Crit that the rotation reaches a healthy rate without sailing far past Global's cap whenever those effects are active. Accuracy works the same way: solve missed or parried shots, then move the rest of the budget into damage.
Spiritmaster - Best Stats and Manastones

PvE Priority
Double ChanceDamage BoostWeapon DamageCritical DamageSpiritmaster has several strong damage multipliers and benefits heavily from Double Chance sources outside the Manastone system.
Manastones
Damage BoostWeapon DamageCritical DamageFront AttackCurrent Global guidance is less rigid about the order between these multipliers than it is for positional melee classes.
Spiritmaster does not have one positional stat that overwhelms the rest of its gearing. Double Chance is excellent, while Damage Boost, Weapon Damage Boost, Critical Damage Boost, and Front Attack Damage Boost are all useful Manastone outcomes. That makes the class flexible when the first good Superior roll appears.
Critical Hit should be raised toward the practical cap and Accuracy added when content demands it. Flame Blessing contributes both Accuracy and Crit at higher Stigma levels, so include those buffs in your calculation. The class is also a good candidate for keeping a strong general damage line instead of burning a large pile of stones trying to transform it into a tiny theoretical improvement.
Sorcerer - Best Stats and Manastones

PvE Priority
Weapon DamageFront AttackCritical DamageCooldown ReductionSorcerer's damage revolves around fitting more Hellfires into a fight and making the large hits count.
Manastones
Weapon DamageFront AttackCritical DamageWeapon Damage Boost is the safest premium target. Front Attack is strong, but does not improve every ground summon or damage-over-time effect.
Weapon Damage Boost stands out for Sorcerer because it improves the class without asking for a positional condition on each individual effect. Front Attack Damage Boost is still very strong on direct hits, but effects such as Bittercold Wind, Fire Wall, Cold Storm, and damage over time do not all receive the same positional benefit. Critical Damage Boost is therefore a strong alternative.
Cooldown Reduction is one of Sorcerer's most important stats, but it is not a normal Manastone target. Daevanion, titles, Wings, Pantheon stats, and Arcana provide the important sources. Combat Speed also has breakpoints, so treat it as a build target instead of a stat to accumulate endlessly.
Sorcerer gearing splits cleanly: use Manastones for premium damage multipliers and use the rest of the character systems to build the Cooldown Reduction that brings key spells back sooner.
Cleric - Best Stats and Manastones

PvE Priority
AttackCooldown ReductionWeapon DamageCritical DamageAttack improves both damage and healing because Healing Enhancement converts part of Attack into Heal Boost.
Manastones
Weapon DamageCritical DamageDamage BoostFront AttackPlain Attack remains a very good early roll. Superior damage multipliers become attractive once the rest of the build is established.
Cleric is where old MMO instincts can be misleading. There is no separate healing-stat Manastone that every healer should stack. Healing Enhancement converts a portion of Attack into Heal Boost, which means Attack improves your healing while also increasing the damage you deal between heals.
Cooldown Reduction is equally valuable because it shortens gaps in the Cleric's important debuff and damage windows, but it comes mainly from other progression systems. Weapon Damage Boost and Critical Damage Boost are strong Superior Manastone targets. Critical Hit matters, although Condemnation has guaranteed-crit interactions during Earth Punishment, so not every spell depends on the sheet Crit value equally.
A healer that survives mechanics does not need to turn every slot into HP. If you are dying, add durability. If the party is stable, Attack-side gearing improves healing, solo play, and your contribution during downtime at the same time.
Chanter - Best Stats and Manastones

PvE Priority
Double ChanceFront / Back AttackWeapon DamageAccuracyChanter supports the party, but its own damage still matters. Its best positional roll depends on where your group lets you stand.
Manastones
Front / Back AttackWeapon DamageCurrent high-end guidance disagrees on front versus back. Keep the one that matches your actual boss position instead of forcing one universal answer.
Chanter is a hybrid support, but the class should not gear like a passive buff bot. Double Chance is excellent through Impact Hit, Undefeated Mantra, Pantheon, and pet systems. For Manastones, positional damage and Weapon Damage Boost are the strongest targets.
The awkward part is Front versus Back Attack Damage Boost. Both appear in serious recommendations because party composition and boss positioning change where a Chanter spends its time. If your Templar keeps the boss fixed and you consistently play behind it, Back Attack is easy to use. If mechanics or your role keep you near the front, Front Attack becomes more practical. The better roll is the one you can actually keep active.
Accuracy can be tight in early Global gear, and Chanter has fewer reasons to tolerate parries than a back-attacking Assassin. Attack also has extra value because Blessing of Life scales healing from Attack, although the class's strongest premium stones are still damage multipliers.
Early Manastones vs Endgame Manastones
Trying to use an endgame stat sheet on every piece of transitional gear is one of the easiest ways to burn a valuable resource for very little lasting benefit. Global Season 1 gives you several gear replacement waves, and stones do not transfer.

| Gear Stage | What to Keep | What to Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Temporary Rare / Epic Gear | Cheap Attack, Crit, Accuracy, HP if needed | Repeated rerolls or premium stones |
| IL70 Unique Gear | Good basic rolls; premium rolls if the item will stay for a while | Trying to perfect every slot before 2100 |
| IL86 / Crafted Long-Term Gear | Superior damage multipliers, class-specific positional rolls, good Soul Binding lines | Throwing away a rare multiplier because its value is not maximum |
| PvP Gear | Abyssal Manastones and PvP-specific lines according to your role | Copying the PvE stone setup without changes |
When Is a Roll Good Enough to Keep?
AION 2 makes perfect Manastones rare enough that "best in slot" needs a dose of practicality. On a strong long-term item, landing the correct damage category at a decent value is already useful. Chasing the highest possible version of the same line can consume an enormous number of stones.
- Correct Front/Back Attack roll for your class and position
- Weapon Damage Boost on almost any DPS-oriented build
- Critical Damage Boost when your Crit is already healthy
- Good Attack while you are still building the final multiplier setup
- Accuracy when the content is actually producing misses or parries
- A premium multiplier that is slightly below maximum value
- A useful Combat Speed line near a breakpoint
- A strong Soul Binding line that will transfer to the next item
- A stat that is already capped only while a temporary buff is active
- A good general roll on a class with several similarly strong multipliers
This also matters when buying equipment. A higher Item Level piece with poor transferable lines can cost more to repair than a slightly weaker item that already carries the rare Soul Binding stat your build wants. Check the whole item before judging the price.
The item price is only part of the cost. A desirable long-term piece with strong transferable lines can save a large amount of Kina and reroll materials later.
How PvP Changes Stat Priority
PvP deserves its own setup because players bring Evasion, Block, Status Effects, defensive cooldowns, and PvP-specific multipliers that bosses do not. Superior Abyssal Manastones can roll PvP lines, and the best choice becomes much more dependent on class and content.
A premium offensive target for burst-oriented builds such as Assassin. Other classes may split between PvP Damage and PvP Attack depending on the setup.
Far more important when opponents stack Evasion or Block. Templar and other frontline classes especially dislike unreliable hits.
A common armour priority because getting stunned, knocked down, feared, or otherwise controlled can decide a fight before raw DPS matters.
Valuable in organized PvP, particularly for Templar, Cleric, Chanter, and anyone expected to survive focused damage.
The Global PvP meta is still young enough that giving one universal order for all eight classes would be misleading. Build the PvE damage package separately, then use Abyss gear and Abyssal stones to solve your actual PvP job.
Final Thoughts
The Global stat meta is more interesting than simply stacking Attack on every class. Positional damage gives Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Ranger, and Chanter clear gearing choices. Spiritmaster can make use of several strong multiplier rolls. Sorcerer separates its Manastone damage from Cooldown Reduction found elsewhere. Cleric turns Attack into healing as well as damage.
For most players, the efficient approach is straightforward. Use cheap Attack, Critical Hit, and Accuracy rolls while equipment is temporary. Once you reach gear that will stay, start protecting the rare Superior multipliers that fit your class. Check caps, buffs, positioning, and Combat Speed breakpoints before rerolling something that already works.
A perfect build is expensive. A strong build does not need every line to be perfect; it needs the right stats in the places where they actually matter.
