AION 2
Last Update: October 12, 2026
Introduction
AION 2 has enough currencies to make a fresh level 45 character feel like a small accounting department. Abyss Points, Phantasmal Fragments, Centuryroot Tokens and Oath Coins all lead to different shops, yet several of those shops sell the same progression materials at very different opportunity costs.
That overlap is where most spending mistakes happen. A Stigma Shard can come from the Abyss, Nightmare and Shugo Festival. Daevanion Crystals appear in several places as well. Meanwhile, unique Wings, Pantheon decorations and Arcana materials compete for currencies that take days or weeks to rebuild.
This guide focuses on the five major exchange shops in the current Global version: the Abyss Trade Shop, Nightmare Trade Shop, Shugo Festival Shop, Season Shop and Daeva Pass Shop. Kina and Quna have their own economies, so they sit outside the scope of this guide.

Abyss Points: Stigma Shards Are the Default Buy

Abyss Trade Shop
For a general PvE character, Stigma Shards are the cleanest use of early Abyss Points. Stigma levels provide substantial Combat Power and, more importantly, unlock stronger versions and specialty effects on skills you actually equip. This becomes particularly relevant around 1400-2100 Item Level, where party leaders often judge applicants by Combat Power as well as Item Level.
The current shop starts Stigma Shards at 10,000 Abyss Points, with later purchase tiers climbing to 15,000, 20,000 and 25,000. Buying the cheap tier first is easy to justify. Once the price rises, compare your next Stigma breakpoint with other progression goals before continuing.
Nightmare Shop: Excellent Permanent Progression per Fragment

Nightmare Trade Shop
Nightmare is one of the most generous progression shops because its cheaper purchases feed systems that survive every gear replacement. Daevanion Crystals cost 300 Phantasmal Fragments each and the current shop allows 50 per character. For a fresh level 45 character, this is one of the easiest ways to add board progression and Item Level at the same time.
The shop also sells Soul Codex x5 for 400 Fragments with a weekly limit, Unique Amplify Stone Fragments for 500, Clash Rune Chests for 500 and Stigma Shards for 1,500. This creates a much richer choice than simply buying the cheapest object on the page.
Nightmare also hides some of the most interesting long-term purchases in AION 2. Boss Statues cost roughly 5,000-8,000 Fragments, while Colossus: Zikel's Apparition costs 14,000. Pantheon decorations grant deity-domain stats when placed, turning them into permanent character progression with a decorative façade.
Conqueror Wings cost 20,000 Fragments and Nightmare Wings sit at a formidable 160,000. Those are marathon goals. Buying every cheap consumable first can postpone them for a long time, so collectors and long-term optimizers should decide early whether a particular Pantheon piece or Wing is part of their plan.
Shugo Festival: The Hardest Shop to Spend Perfectly

Shugo Festival Shop
The Shugo Festival creates the most interesting spending dilemma because the same tokens buy Daevanion Crystals, Stigma Shards, Wisdom Stones, Radiant Odyle, a unique pet, several Wings and a large cosmetic catalogue. The growth materials are excellent, yet the collection rewards have value of their own.
Daevanion Crystals begin at only 50 Centuryroot Tokens in the main Festival Shop and rise through progressively more expensive tiers. Stigma Shards cost 300 Tokens, while Wisdom Stones begin at 350. The inexpensive Daevanion tiers are extremely efficient when a few extra Item Levels can unlock your next dungeon.
Buy the cheaper Daevanion Crystal tiers first. Each point advances your board progression and contributes to Item Level, making this especially useful near a content threshold.
Move Centuryroot Tokens into Stigma Shards when an important Stigma is lagging behind. Players already meeting the Item Level requirement can gain more practical group value from improving their core Stigmas.
Wisdom Stones feed ordinary skill progression. Their value rises once exploration sources slow down and another point reaches a meaningful skill breakpoint.
The Festival Shop sells Radiant Odyle for 1,000 Tokens. It is a useful emergency source when Wing or crafting progression is waiting on Odyle, though it competes with permanent character upgrades.
The major long-term temptation is Springflower Butterfly Wings for 8,350 Centuryroot Tokens. These are a genuine progression item, not a costume with wings attached. They carry equipped combat stats and an owned collection effect, so saving for them can be entirely rational once your immediate Stigma and Daevanion needs are under control.
The Wandering Merchant Lugi at 3,600 Tokens is a collection-oriented purchase. Special pets do not provide the same type bonuses as normal creature groups, but they still count toward mount collection milestones. Buy it because collection progression or the pet itself matters to you, not because you expect a dramatic immediate power spike.
Season Shop: Spend Oath Coins With a Plan

Season Shop
Oath Coins come from Season Missions and seasonal rank rewards. The current shop contains 44 offers and is packed with inexpensive materials, Arcana growth items, cosmetics and one extremely expensive Wing target. Unlike AP or Phantasmal Fragments, this currency is explicitly tied to the season, which gives every purchase an extra layer of opportunity cost.
The best use changes sharply with your progression. A fresh Transcendence character cares about Training Arcana and Mysterious Crystals. A developed character may prefer Soul Codex, Theostones or a long-term collection target.
The Season Shop also sells Talisra Wings for 210,000 Oath Coins. That price makes them a season-long savings target. Players who want the Wings should budget backward from 210,000 before buying every tempting material along the way.
Daeva Pass Shop: Mostly a Collection Shop

Daeva Pass Shop
This is the easiest shop to understand. The current Global inventory is dominated by skins, with Swift Lugi at 10,000 Coins as its notable pet purchase. There is no equivalent pile of Stigma Shards or Daevanion Crystals competing for your budget.
Swift Lugi is a Special pet and contributes to your overall collection, though Special creatures lack the normal creature-type stat bonus. If you want it, buying it early is perfectly reasonable. After that, spend Pass Coins on the cosmetics you actually plan to use.
Stigma or Daevanion: Which Should Come First?
This is the spending question Global players keep running into, and both answers can be correct. Daevanion progression helps Item Level and unlocks board bonuses. Stigma progression has an enormous effect on Combat Power and can materially change the skill itself.
| Your Situation | Better Purchase | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You are just short of 1400 or 2100 Item Level | Daevanion Crystal | A few points can open the next content tier immediately. |
| Your Item Level is fine but groups reject your CP | Stigma Shard | Stigma levels can produce large CP gains and stronger specialty effects. |
| Your main Stigma is approaching level 15 or 20 | Stigma Shard | Finish a meaningful breakpoint before spreading resources elsewhere. |
| Your Daevanion board is close to a strong node or skill bonus | Daevanion Crystal | The board reward can outweigh a small incremental Stigma level. |
| You have several currencies available at once | Split the sources | Use Nightmare/Shugo for Daevanion and preserve Abyss Points for Stigmas or PvP progression. |
Do Not Buy the Same Material Everywhere
Several AION 2 currencies overlap, but their unique rewards do not. This makes duplication the quietest way to squander a valuable balance. A character can buy Stigma Shards from three shops, then discover that all of its Phantasmal Fragments are gone when a useful Pantheon Statue unlocks.
The first AP price tier is a dependable Stigma source, while AP also retains a clear future role for PvP gear and Potential.
The flat 300-Fragment price on the first 50 Crystals makes Nightmare an excellent home for board progression.
Daevanion, Stigma and Wisdom Stones all live here. Buy the one that produces the next meaningful upgrade, then protect a reserve if you want the Festival Wings.
Mysterious Crystals are costly but can complete a Unique Arcana transmute. Knowing your missing crystal count prevents a large seasonal-currency overpayment.
Final Thoughts
AION 2's currency shops become much easier once each one has a clear purpose. Abyss Points are excellent for Stigma progression, Nightmare cheaply feeds Daevanion and other permanent systems, Shugo bridges whatever growth track is lagging, and Oath Coins can solve some of the most awkward Arcana bottlenecks.
The expensive collection rewards deserve mention as well. Springflower Butterfly Wings, Nightmare Pantheon pieces and Talisra Wings ask for weeks of saving, yet several provide lasting stats or collection value.
Check what currently halts your character, buy the upgrade that clears that obstruction, and keep the unique rewards of each shop in view. That simple habit stretches every currency much further than following one rigid shopping list.
